Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Bike charging station directly at the apartment. Then a sauna session? If you are interested, it is possible to take a tour with my US Oldies ;-)

Scheiche-Haus "Wohnen in historischer Scheune"

Vor über 20 Jahren haben wir das Scheiche-Haus, ein Einhaus in der schönen Vulkanregion Vogelsberg, gekauft. Früher bestand das Bauernhaus aus einem Wohnhaus, einem Stall und der Scheune. Wir haben beide im Tourismus gearbeitet und lange ein Feriendorf geleitet. Als wir in die Rente gegangen sind, haben wir beschlossen: So ganz ohne Gäste geht es auch nicht! Wir haben schon immer davon geträumt, die alte Scheune unseres Hauses umzubauen – und jetzt war genau der richtige Zeitpunkt.

The apartment is on the 1st floor and has a spacious living area with a window front facing the countryside. In addition to the two bedrooms with 140 cm wide beds each, there are two more single beds in the attic. The kitchen is new and very well equipped.

Es gibt natürlich auch viele Wanderwege, u.a. auch einen Vulkanwanderweg.
