Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday in the beautiful accommodation. Spacious, clean, cosy and modern. The host is also super nice and happy to think along. Parking was excellent. In the evening, it cools down in the accommodation. The details have been thought of, so all the amenities are easy to use. The beds are also lovely and the view when you wake up is beautiful. The apartment is small but nice and big enough for two people. All necessary utensils, especially in the kitchen, are available. However, it is worth bringing toilet paper, as there is only one layer available here. All in all but a very clean and pleasant space.

We stayed with Stuart for the second time and felt right at home! It's really great to have Stuart as a host, he is easily accessible, always nice and helpful :). You have the whole house to yourself, which is a great luxury and we always enjoy very much! In Kaprun you can walk to everything from the house, but at the same time you have your peace and quiet to relax superbly. We will definitely come back several times to be Stuart's guests:)!

This is an exceptional place. The home is sparkling clean, well organized, and thoughtfully appointed to make the most of a cozy space. Rooms are bright, fresh, and the beds are comfortable. Nice quality cooking utensils and appliances, along with great views from the kitchen window, make mealtime a pleasure. But when we didn’t want to cook, Sabrina gave great restaurant recommendations. Located just outside of town, the setting is peaceful, with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the magnificent views. A short drive takes you to parking areas for numerous world-class hikes in the national park. The house and its setting are wonderful. This alone would make the place easy to recommend, but the host is exceptional too. Sabrina is caring and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and hated to leave.
