We had a lovely stay at Sam's guesthouse. Although it is attached it still felt very private. We had some cooler weather while there so was a treat to light the fire but also got out for a fresh water swim which was so good. Our 3 year old absolutely loved it when the chooks came the visit in the morning and afternoon. Very friendly and helpful hosts, thanks for having us!

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

The most amazing stay we've ever had! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We walked into a cozy house beautifully lit by a fire place. Fresh milk and eggs were waiting for us, and they were absolutely delicious. Janeen was incredibly helpful. Our little one was kept entertained with plenty of puzzles, Legos, and toys. One of the highlights was the tour of the farm. Janeen and Adrian showed us the cows, the cow shed, explained how the milking is done, and even let our little one collect fresh eggs from the chickens. The view over the mountains was breathtaking, and the river nearby made the whole place feel like a peaceful retreat. The sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning. The hospitality we received was beyond amazing. This was truly the best stay we've ever experienced, and we can't wait to come back!

Had the loveliest night away at the cozy colonial tiny house, would highly recommend to anyone!

Ross was so lovely to us, we arrived late and he was ready to go when we got there and he was even able to suggest some yummy food places around the corner for dinner. The house was tidy and clean and felt super cosy like home. Ross was super kind and gave us an upgrade which we were super happy about! Overall, I would definitely recommend this Airbnb, easy access, beautiful scenery and a trustworthy host.

Lovely accommodation nestled amongst an apple orchard with sheep and pukeko out of the window. Great access, very clean and easy to settle into. It also stayed warm against an unusually cold Hawke's Bay night. Kids were very happy there therefore so were we!

Immaculately kept property with friendly hosts and dog and cat and sheep and chickens. Dawn has thought of everything you may have forgotten to. bring and home produce a special touch.

Lovely place in the orchard. Very private, peaceful, clean and homely. Lots of amenities, full kitchen and thoughtful touches. Grateful to be able to bring my dog. Will definitely recommend.

I stayed at Andy and Sue’s place with my new husband after we got married at a local vineyard and restaurant - Coney Wines/3 Little Words. They were really accommodating and let us check in 3 hours early as our ceremony started at 3pm. This meant we could have all our belongings at the house after the wedding. The home was really clean, and had a beautiful country cottage feel. I loved waking up and looking at the Tararua mountains, the vegetable garden and the free roaming chickens.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The surrounding farm is beautiful and the cottage itself is spacious and comfortable. Our toddler absolutely loved it. Alan is an extremely welcoming host. Highly recommended.

This stunning property provided the perfect setting for celebrating my mum’s 70th birthday weekend. The accommodation matched the listing description and photos exactly, offering ample space and excellent heating for our group of eight. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, an outdoor fire pit would be a wonderful enhancement to make the beautiful outdoor areas more enjoyable during cooler weather. We would definitely recommend this property to other guests!

We stayed at Kimberley & Jamie’s lovely place for a week while working in the area. What a good choice it turned out to be. Set in an incredible spot on top of a hill, the Airbnb is pristine, peaceful, warm and well-equipped. The hosts are discreet, responsive and flexible. We enjoyed every minute even in the wildest of weather! Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic long weekend at the cottage on the farm! It is a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful destination to unwind and recharge from city life in! It is just as the pictures show. Loved having a peaceful early morning coffee out in the garden and listening to all the beautiful birds! The cottage is thoughtfully set up, perfectly clean with attention to so many details to make our stay enjoyable. It is clear Mike and Will enjoy setting up the accomodation as there are so many nice little thoughtful touches. Mike and Will were friendly and available to walk us and our daughter around the farm to feed animals. Lovely private garden with really secure fencing that contained our little dog and she had a great time exploring in. Mike was also very thoughtful dropping over bean bags and blankets for us to star watch in the evening as well. Thanks also for the rolling pin and trays for our home made pizzas!

Lovely spacious house in rural setting close to town. Comfortable and extra cosy with fireplace roaring. Well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor spaces to relax in the sun with a lovely outlook. Bonus to be able to have our dog with us. Carol is friendly and also responded quickly when we have a couple of queries. Short drive to Henley Lake which is a great dog friendly area to run and walk.

If, like me, you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in quiet and beautiful surroundings, then this is YOUR place. Everything was perfect. And like amazing Kiwi hosts, milk in the fridge and friendly and helpful! The scenery is just beautiful here, the birdsong and river and trees…..what a place!

Everything was as described. Rural location but only 5 minutes to Otaki. Peaceful location. Good parking etc and host was excellent.

Mark's BnB was just as the photos looked. Very modern, clean with everything we needed. Just a short walk into the charming village, and Mark was also very helpful when our mobile phone was left behind. I highly recommend it if you are staying in Martinborough.

This was a great location for our needs. The fireplace was such a treat! There was a big supply of firewood and we took advantage of it. Super comfortable beds. I had everything we needed and we had a nice stay.

Dee's place is very chic and welcoming. The location is stunning and Vincent the Barking Butler is gorgeous! 😂Even though Dee had worked a full day prior to our arrival, she was warm and gracious and very welcoming. Couldn't find anything that Dee had missed. We hope to visit again.
