House holiday rentals in Walchensee

We had a great stay at Mariola's place. The property is in the small town of Raubling in a quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks from the main road and near several markets and a great bakery. Raubling is near the foothills of the Alps so you can see tree covered hills nearby. We took day trips to Munich, Lenggries and Neuschwanstein. The property was large enough for our group of six and we made use of the indoor pool and sauna.

Chalet of dreams! We had the most perfect stay at Lina’s place and it exceeded all expectations. Pristinely presented and amazing facilities. Only 15 mins drive to Kitzbuhl for skiing and it was then the perfect place to unwind with friends for a relaxing evening. Hot tub/pool/sauna were all amazing and such a joy to use after a day out. The chalet has everything you need and more and Lina is incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. Highly recommend to stay here, we loved it and really hope to come back at some point

The accommodation is highly recommended, the hosts Irina and Dominik were very friendly, nice and courteous! The city can be reached quickly and easily and even if you don't want to go to the city, the accommodation has everything you need to have relaxation or fun on site.

We were 2 married couples and wanted to go hiking. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Calimoto helped with that. A good restaurant can be reached on foot in a few minutes. We also liked to use the sauna in the garden. It's quiet at night. Next year we will come back and bring our bikes. In the evening, we could also play games at the large dining table. We were able to watch the last match of the Bundesliga on the large TV. Dunja gave tips on request and is very friendly. Regards, Johannes

Everything worked out great. Cooking for 8 people was a bit difficult as there were not enough utensils available.

Fantastic house, tastefully decorated, with all the comforts. Had a great week with the whole family. Very nice that each room had its own bathroom and toilet. Had accidents with toilet seat, was handled very smoothly. Very sympathetic all!

We were very kindly received by Rosalind and her husband. The two were very warm and friendly hosts. The accommodation is in a quiet location and Munich or Starnberg are very easy to reach by train. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space in the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped. The staircase to the apartment is relatively steep and narrow, which was not a problem for us, but with children or elderly people, this could be an issue. All in all, the accommodation is a recommendation!

The place was beautiful and extremely well equipped. It is a warm, clean and tidy, spacious and tastefully furnished house. You don't miss anything at all. All information was immediately available from the moment we entered the house. The surroundings are really wonderful. It is also very close to great ski resorts. You also have your peace when you go to the terrace. It really is a gem. I highly recommend it. Many thanks to you. We will definitely be back in the future.

The stay was very nice. Pauline is a very friendly and nice hostess. The apartment was clean and had everything you need (as described), even a walk-in closet. The bathroom is modern. In 10 minutes on foot you can reach two supermarkets, a bakery, a snack bar with pizza, kebab etc. and an Asian restaurant. Munich is about 30 minutes away by car. I highly recommend a stay with Pauline and will certainly be a guest with Pauline again in the future.

Although our recent trip to Bavaria included castles, amazing cuisine and incredible sights, one of our fondest and most special memories will forever be meeting Hubertus and Jennifer. You will not find two more caring, more thoughtful hosts and our stay at their cottage was absolutely wonderful. The love and warmth they put into their cottage is self evident and reflects in almost every detail of their home. From the handwritten welcome note and bottle of wine we received on arrival to their recommendations and helpful tips as we navigated the surrounding areas, we felt as though we were staying with old friends and were looked after with such special attention and care. My husband and I feel so grateful to have met them and could not recommend others to book a stay at their cottage strongly enough. Thank you again for everything! It truly was a perfect stay :)

Very clean, very cozy and quiet

It was all excellent! Super nice area, extremely quiet and great hiking trails right from the house. We met the landlord briefly, super nice people. Otherwise, you have complete peace and quiet, self check in/check out is also great. Highly recommend.

We were there for a friend's short vacation and we liked it very much! The apartment is spacious, modern, clean and has a great view! It is nice and quiet and you can get to great spots for hiking in a short time by car. Kitchen and bathroom are super equipped and the hostess is super nice and was always available for questions. Price-performance was also great! Gladly again ☺️

We spent a very nice week with the family in the great villa and felt very comfortable. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. The house is very idyllic from the outside area to the furnishings and it is quietly located. We lacked nothing. We were warmly welcomed by Alex and his mother and we could also contact them at any time. The house is located close to Lake Ammersee, which we could easily reach on foot. We can give at least 5 stars and wish the other guests such a nice time in Villa Matilda and a good rest. Many thanks to Angela, Alex and his mother!

Janin is a very friendly hostess who cares very much about the well-being of the guests. If you have any questions or concerns, answered very quickly. We were even allowed to stay longer on the check-out day. The house is huge and offers all the amenities you could wish for. In particular, the seating area with its we were drawn to the sweeping furniture. Even in bad weather, there are plenty of opportunities to spread out in the spacious rooms. There is a very large garden, more like a small park with a swimming pond, which we did not use (on the one hand it was too fresh, but on the other hand the water is not inviting to swim in at the moment). Although there are two apartments, the two parties do not disturb each other, as the outdoor areas are partially separated from each other, each with their own seating and barbecue facilities. We enjoyed our stay here very much and can highly recommend the hostess, the house and its surroundings.

The best has been made of the cottage visually and in terms of furnishings. The beds are totally comfortable. For a longer stay, there is a lack of storage space for clothes or the like, but we simply lived out of the suitcase over the weekend. In general, there is enough space for 8 people to sleep and eat, but not necessarily to spend a lot of time in the house. The location itself is beautiful on the Ammersee and you can also walk very quickly to the lake promenade, where life is. The fact that the cottage is on a campsite was sufficiently described, but unfortunately it was still not so clear to us that people camp directly under/on the terrace and you have less privacy than expected. All around really very sweet and cozy and recommended for larger groups who want to spend a lot of time on and around the Ammersee and are looking for a nice place to sleep.

A jewel in Oberammergau! Clean throughout and very nice bedrooms. Loved the sauna and the clothes washer. So very close to the center of things in town it was convenient to come and go throughout the day. Coming home to the beautiful garden was very welcoming. We hope to come back again someday.
