Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. Stay on the Way of Saint James you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Zurich crisis or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

Cities such as Zurich, St. Gallen & Lucerne can be reached in about 1 hour by car. The great chocolate factory inspires young and old. You are very welcome.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Quietly located farm with mountain and lake views

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. It is located in the vicinity of the former weaving mill and on Mount Bachtel with its fantastic view of Lake Zurich and the Alps. The spacious, private sauna overlooking nature invites you to relax. The Nordic-style bedroom on the gallery lets you fall asleep to the babbling of the brook and wake up to birdsong and magnificent views of the countryside.

Charming gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the fireplace, and cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a dormitory is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. There is a kitchen available, about 20 meters from the cottage. On request, we can provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13.00 per person.
