Private access to the beautiful Wenaha River is a short walk behind the cabin. The Grande Ronde River is a short walk down the lane. Morels, birds & wildflowers in May. Rafting in June. Huckleberries in July. Steelhead fishing Sept 1. Hunting in Oct, etc. Plenty of parking. Just tell us if you want to park an RV. Stay 3+ nights, rate change to $150. Ask me.

Breathtaking Wallowa Lake Retreat with Sauna

This property was even better than the photos depicted! There is an amazing view from the front porch. The circle drive was handy to use with a boat and it was right across the street from the boat ramp. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the extra mattress and fold out bed were also nice to have. It was tastefully decorated. The sauna was an added bonus and the flowers in the front and back yard lent to the beauty of this fabulous place.

We loved staying in this home. Had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Our host was very accommodating to some specific needs and we felt this place was a great value. We loved having a yard with deck and fire pit to hang out and our host takes pride in the outdoor environment with beautiful Flowers and herbs. This translated to an additional space we had not really expected but thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms, beds, bathrooms all well set up and very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

I was in this area for a memorial service and my plans were tentative at best for the entire weekend. Stacy so kindly worked with me as the family’s plans changed, and my plans changed, and it could not have been a better arrangement. The gorgeous historic home felt so cozy as soon as you walked in. I stayed in the king sized bedroom with the in-room bathroom. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and there was plenty of room to unwind and relax. This was a much needed respite in such a stunningly beautiful area!

This place was awesome! It was super close to town, so there were plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to walk to. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, coffee, and tea which was awesome. The fire pit was nice too to be able to relax outside. Overall, a great experience!

Ruth & Dusty thought about literally everything that their guests will need and more. You can tell that their guests mean a lot to them. The home was clean, kitchen was well stocked, it has a variety of condiments, pots and pans and they even had slow cooker. We loved the decoration throughout the house! We loved how the TV was downstairs. It was nice to have two areas to relax especially with a child. Thank you Ruth and Dusty for being so kind and generous to even gift my son the moose stuffed animal.
