Absolutely amazing place to stay for a little break/get away!! So peaceful, amazing view and scenery. Host is very friendly and communicated if needed. Immaculate lodge very clean and cosy! Would absolutely recommend, will definitely be staying here again :)))

This lodge was beautiful with amazing views over Lake Windermere from both the deck and the living room. The weather was a mix, but honestly, it was stunning whether it was raining or sunny, though the sunshine definitely made it even more magical. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed, making it feel super cozy and like a home away from home. White Cross Bay Holiday Park was a great spot, really peaceful and in a perfect location for exploring, whether on foot or by car. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

We had a couple of very relaxing days away at this cozy lodge. Would definitely return, great surroundings and a nice town close by. Clean and well equipped lodge with great views all round.

Lovely place for a short break away, great accommodation, exactly as described. The kids loved a swim in the lake, nice pub on the site but fantastic pub a short walk away (Longlands) with the best pizza ever! Would recommend 😊

Unbelievable stay. I am a sucker for romantic hideaways with hot tubs! Have done loads but this place trumps everyone! My partner’s birthday- Katie decorated it as a surprise! Did not expect that. Luxurious, beautiful little touches throughout the lodge. The views to die for. Extremely comfortable. Perfect nights sleep. Quiet. Planning to return soon as want to visit Castleton and hope valley. Definitely well worth booking ❤️

Me and my partner stayed here Friday - mon and had the most amazing time. Nathalie was so welcoming and helped us find a brilliant Sunday roast near by. The interior was stunning we would definitely come back again!

We had a fantastic stay. The cabin is in a convenient location and was as a great base for exploring the Lakes. The sounds of river running along by the deck was wonderfully relaxing! Everything was homely, comfortable and inviting on arrival. Welcome supplies and fresh flowers were a nice touch too. Couldn't fault our host who was proactive and helpful throughout. We hope to be back!

Lovely and comfortable stay! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a cute girls trip in Lake District. The cabin comes equipped with Netflix and it’s so close to Windermere centre.

Really enjoyed our stay, we were celebrating my Mother’s 90th birthday and had other family members staying in other lodges around the park. Beautiful scenery and great location. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Can’t recommend this place enough, we had an exceptional stay at this lakeside cabin. The hosts were attentive and provided clear communication, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The cabin was spotless, really spacious (even bigger than it looked in the photos), and thoughtfully equipped with essentials like milk, butter, bread and cookies making us feel right at home. The lake setting was amazing, peaceful, and a great place to relax. Already looking forward to coming back.

Amazing stay! Great for brining your dog along! Right next to a long quiet walk and we made great use of the bbq and fire pit amenities. Truly a really secure tranquil and relaxing trip! Would recommend to anyone ☺️

Lovely stay at Rays. The lodge felt spacious for us as a family of 5. It was very clean and cosy and had everything you could possibly need during your stay, great kids plates and cutlery were provided. Kids loved the board games. Bonus having a washing machine! The outside space was lovely and peaceful, views from the decking were amazing. Enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine and book of an evening. Seating & table also around the back with a chiminea, would be nice to come back in summer to use the outdoor space a little more! The site itself was nice and quiet, the on site pub served good choice of pub food and was ideally positioned next to a great little kids play park so we could have a drink while they played, staff very friendly. Ray was amazing from start to finish and gave us lots of ideas of what to do on our stay (canal boat ride and Billy-bobs diner were a hit). 11 am check out also great didn’t feel rushed to get out and could enjoy a last breakfast. A fantastic lodge in a great location, close enough to Patterdale where we had a competition. Comfortably fit a group of 5 people in, and well equipped for cooking group meals. Thanks for a comfortable stay

We had a great weekend in Jennie’s cabin. It is located in such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and scenic. The cabin offers a large entertaining space with plenty of amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic indulgence to chill in on a cold evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

Very short stay as stayed whilst at Liverpool champions parade so was literally a bed to sleep in but was very clean, nice site and really good price. Thanks for a nice stay

Vicky is a wonderful host, was always responsive to messages and didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile for me when I had special requests for our stay. The location is amazing with a railway station right at the back of the lodge. Inside the lodge itself was beautiful and very clean and the highlight for me and my fiancée was the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay there and had the absolute best time and cannot wait to return there in the future.

John was very lovely and the place was just as nice, had a homely feel to the place with nice extras that John provided

We stayed in the Hideaway pod, it was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was clean, well maintained and very private. The holiday park is small but has everything you need. The food in the restaurant is perfect, really tasty meals with good portions sizes and reasonably priced. The swimming pools were great and very handy on the rainy days. Lots of lovely local places to visit. The only area that could be improved would be the onsite arcade that would benefit from a few more arcade games (mainly for any rainy days or in the evenings after a busy day). We all loved the site and pod as a whole and will definitely be returning in the future

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda’s pod! The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and full of peaceful farm vibes, which made for a really relaxing getaway with the family. We especially enjoyed the BBQ area and spent a lovely evening cooking and chatting outdoors. The pod itself was cozy and well-equipped, and Brenda was a fantastic host,very responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, nature-filled setting!

We had an incredible stay at the Roost. The perfect relaxing getaway. Most of the time, the only sounds we could hear were sheep, chickens and the sound of a trickling stream. The house itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Shirley couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable, and I hope we get the opportunity to visit again I'm the future.
