Holiday rentals with breakfast in Washington County

Lisa’s home is beautifully located and very comfortable. We felt truly welcome — Lisa and Scott were kind, respectful of our privacy, and easy to talk to. The house is cozy, the kitchen spacious, and the fireplace was a real treat during rainy weather. The breakfast with local Vermont products was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Jan's place is comfortable, cozy, attractive, quiet, and peaceful. She is a responsive and accommodating hostess. She graciously adjusted my lodging dates after I requested her to do so.

Jan’s place was exactly what I needed for a quick trip to Stowe. This will be my first choice on future trips!

Lisa and Scott's home is an excellent place to stay in Waterbury. It's close to Stowe Mountain Resort where my friend and I went skiing/snowboarding. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety for the two nights we stayed. I highly recommend their home. I'll definitely book a stay in the future when circumstances align.

We made a last minute decision to ski at Sugarbush and after some searching selected the Mad River Inn for two couples. We selected an option for two rooms. When we arrived Susannah offered an alternative arrangement with two separated rooms each with access to a bathroom at the same rate we booked. This was very thoughtful and appreciated. She recommended options for dinner and showed us around the beautiful and historic Inn giving some history and interesting background. We enjoyed a game of billiards in the game room. In the morning she prepared omelets for breakfast. There was also an impressive selection of teas and coffee. There were many nice touches; comfortable beds, rooms each decorated with beautiful antiques, home baked snacks, cold picture of fruited water and more. We highly recommend this stop, and will come back with a larger group in the future.

We loved our stay at Mountain Meadow BnB. Walter was friendly, responsive, shared good recommendations, and accommodated breakfast allergies. We liked the opportunity to talk with other guests during breakfast and Walter was easily accessible throughout our stay. Good location within close distance of several cute towns and hiking spots. It was great to have the bnb host on site and available!

Nice authentic Vermont home close to the mountain. Easy place to crash after skiing and dinner. Bed was comfy!

Great location very close to Stowe mountain. Private rooms in a house with a friendly host. Well run operation, good communication, smooth check-in, useful local recommendations. Overall great value.

Peter and Susan are the perfect hosts—you can truly see their passion and love for what they do. Everything is thoughtfully designed and tailored to the needs of their guests. There is absolutely nothing to criticize, and we would book a room here again without hesitation!

Do yourself a favor and stay with Mick and Karen. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, friendly hosts—you leave their inn feeling like you made 2 new friends. :) We plan to return next time we find ourselves in the Mad River Valley.

A great place to stay in the Valley close to all of the action! Tim and Rick were gracious and wonderful hosts. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal.

The Little River Inn is a great base for exploring Stowe and the surrounding area. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The window unit AC was essential at night because it was very warm and humid during our stay. Kim and Phil are gracious and welcoming. They made a delicious breakfast every morning of our stay. There is a common room with a Keurig for coffee, a small fridge, and books and games. There is a deck with a hot tub that overlooks the Little River, which we did not use. If you are a light sleeper you may want to use ear plugs due to noise from the highway. I always travel with them so that was not a problem for me and my husband sleeps like a rock so he didn’t mind. We were able to park right outside our room, which was handy. The room itself, with queen bed, stand up shower, small closet and dresser, is fine for two people. Two luggage racks helped keep our bags out of the way. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Two thumbs up!

Debra and her husband Jim are wonderfully friendly hosts. Breakfast was exceptionally tasty and just the right thing to start a day of snowboarding. Staying at johnnycake flats is like getting a warm hug. Everything about our stay was terrific. Just what we needed.

We loved everything about this place. The setting with beautiful view. House was so cool and interesting filled with thousands of conversation pieces. Room was excellent and clean. Trails along the granite quarry were really cool. The continental breakfast was amazing and we got to meet the other guests who were great. We have traveled the world, and this little side trip to Barre was one of our most memorable experiences. If you want to experience Vermont, this is Vermont. Go to the Granite Museum in town and the cemetery.

We had a wonderful stay! The environment was peaceful and relaxing, and the jacuzzi was a perfect touch. Breakfast was delicious, and our host was kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
