Farmstay holiday rentals in Washington County

We had an amazing stay at this farm. Cathy our host was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the house and made sure that if we needed anything it was there. She’s an awesome host. We made so many special memories with our adult kids and grandkids thanks to Aaron who is an awesome caretaker. We learned so much about all the beautiful animals there and were able to interact with them. The horses are so gentle as are the other animals; highland cows, goats, sheep, and I especially loved Jenny the donkey. Aaron has 3 mini pigs that are so sweet and respond to his commands. There are many birds as well. Turkles the turkey and Papa Goose seemed to be the stars although the peacocks certainly put on an elegant show of feathers. I can’t say enough about our stay and Aaron definitely helped make it a memorable experience for all. The kids had fun with the paddle boats, kayaks, pool/ping pong table, piano, and time around the fire pit. It is so peaceful and beautiful scenery. Hope to be bac

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Sierra’s house, and we just love it! It’s comfortable, beautiful, Waitsfield is lovely, and we couldn’t have asked for anything else!

What a prime and beautiful location! Ela provided us with clear instructions to care for her house and animals during our stay, and was also just a text away if we needed her. Max the cat is the sweetest boy and barely left our side as we enjoyed the beautiful property! We would absolutely love to stay again in the future.

Great stay at Jen’s beautiful chalet. Easy to communicate with and well equipped with many kitchen supplies and all the needed towels, linens, hairdryers, and a thoughtful welcome package. Only about 15 mins from the mountain and 10 mins to town. Thanks!

My stay was exactly what I needed. I would actually say the pictures don’t do the space justice! It’s far bigger than depicted in my opinion. I was very comfortable and felt at home when I was there. It was really nice to enjoy walking around Montpelier with Mary Beth’s home as my access point. Very grateful for my stay in this sweet not so tiny home!

Exceeded expectations. Clean, spacious, and looking out at the mountains were highlights. Great reunion weekend for 8 adults and a toddler.

What a beautiful place! Sarah and Bert’s place was one of a kind! Superb location with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains! We booked this location for our family snowboarding trip, there was ample space for us to eat and enjoy family time. Great kitchen to cook and socialize with everybody. I can’t say enough about this home. Sarah and Bert were excellent hosts and we communicated effortlessly and they provided a very positive experience. If you’re planning a trip to the area for adventure or just a getaway, I would highly recommend staying at Fielders farm!

We had a fantastic time visiting the Living Tree Alliance Co-Housing community through this Airbnb rental. It is situated on a little slice of heaven with beautiful gardens and plenty of trails and space to explore. Other residents in the community were a delight to meet as well. Location in the mad river valley is great as well.

A beautiful space just far enough outside of Montpelier but only 10 minutes by car back to town. Wonderful space with all the amenities a visitor could ask for. Spacious. Peaceful. Restorative.

My husband and I stayed in National at 1854 House and we loved it! It was exactly as described, and Sarah was a terrific host. Everything was very clean, she was quick to respond, left detailed instructions about all the unit had to offer, and even gave us some local recommendations. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and the swing in the living room was a wonderful extra touch. The location was perfect for exploring all of northern Vermont. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We would absolutely stay in National again. Definitely recommend!

This place was perfect for our stay. The apartment was clean and looked just like the photos. The property is gorgeous and relaxing by the pond was a great way to end the day. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions. There was a folder in the house with a lot of recommendations and information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our time exploring around Stowe. I would definitely stay here again if I go to the area again.

Amazing and unique stay! We felt right at home and very comfortable. Great location, close to Main Street and the mountain, but without the congestion. Anna was very responsive and helpful when planning our stay

One of the reasons why we love staying at the cabin is Carol's responsiveness. She is always very quick to respond to questions or problems. The cabin gives us plenty of room to spread out, kitchen amenities like home, plenty of property to go for walks and a genuinely rural atmosphere within 20 minutes of downtown Montpelier. Stowe Modern is an oasis! From outside to inside, we couldn’t have loved it more. The house is well designed for a large family and more well-equipped than other homes we have rented. Dwayne was an excellent and flexible host. The scenery around the house is beautiful. We had a blast visiting the local breweries and relaxing at the backyard solo stove at night. Don’t miss this one!

Gorgeous property, spacious, comfortable loft. We had a wonderful time. Never seen so much snow in my life, beautiful scenery. Will come back in the summer time to swim and fish.

Beautiful home, amazing views, wonderful family experience!

We had a great stay at Nancy's from 6/20-6/22. it's a quick 5 min drive from main st and close to so many great places. it had the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere but close to restaurants,etc. We had no issue finding parking near Main st either. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Exactly like the photos. The hottub was very clean as well. We did not use the firepit or outdoor shower but it was nice to have them if we wanted to. The bed was very comfortable as well. It stayed pretty cool inside even when it got hot outside. We kept the windows open and slider(when we were physically there). We did not use the AC but nice to have it if needed. We brought our dog Locket and she enjoyed it too. Nancy had food and water bowls to use if needed and she left Locket some treats and a ball with a note from her dog which was so sweet! Nancy also left a few beers and 2 water bottles in the fridge which was very sweet as well! We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful log cabin construction with absolutely stunning dining table and well appointed furniture throughout the spaces. It had all the amenities one would expect to find in a fully functional kitchen with a few added extras like a French press coffee maker and coffee grinder. Tasty filtered water available from the refrigerator is always a plus. We picked the right weekend with fall colors on full display with a beautiful view over looking the valley with Highway 100. There was even a fully functioning farm stand at the entrance to the drive up the hill to the cabin. No TV's in the downstairs living space was just right for a family vacation. TV was upstairs near the bedrooms, if you can't do without it. An added bonus included a basement space with air hockey table and a rowing machine. We would definitely stay here again if we were vacationing in this area.

Great house! Had everything we needed for our party of 9. Highly recommend!

Bottom line: I would stay here again. The place is cozy and tidy. Carmin made obvious efforts to make the place welcoming. It’s a good location that’s removed from the congestion of the village center, but you can get there by car in 5 minutes. You can walk out the door and go for a hike. Water pressure in the shower is good. Carmin provides lots of local recommendations. Netflix readily available. Coffee and welcome snacks given. Heater heats up place quickly. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as you can hear any car pass at night. The place is older, and as such has houseflies. They’re being managed, but it’s a little surprising at first. The place is clean. I didn’t find vent fans for the kitchen or bathroom, but there are windows close. The bed is fairly comfortable, on the softer side, but the pillows are noisy. The cookware is a little beat up (missing handles), but functional. We did not use the washer or dryer. Overall good stay.

Lovingly restored 19th century farm home ideal For a visit to Stowe area. Every detail has been considered and it shows. I admire the aesthetic and attention to detail. Chefs kiss 😘 all around.

We had a wonderful time with the whole family. Grandparents, parents and two young boys. Location is great, property is great, and even though we had to stay in a lot because of the rain, being in that super cozy house made that seem far more than motley bearable. Highly recommend and we will be back if they will have us!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Inessa's place! 6 adults, plenty of room, stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook in for some meals, cozy accommodations in a quiet neighborhood up the mountain yet close enough to downtown Stowe & lots to do. Inessa was very responsive both prior to the trip as well as during. Will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend!
