Holiday rentals with lake access in Washington County

Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. We hope to come back at a warmer time and enjoy everything the place has to offer! Thank you to Karen for sharing her home and being a great guest!

The area is beautiful, hiked through the woods every day with our dog. Friendly neighbors and very peaceful and serene. Would love to visit again.

Really enjoyed the stay! House was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. The big kitchen table was perfect for dining and socializing. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean and updated. Very close the skiing.

The Calais Cottage was a wonderful, family friendly weekend get away. The kitchen was pristine and had the basic amenities to be able to prepare family breakfasts and dinners. There were PLENTY of towels and washcloths for the amount of people in the house and the hosts also provided shampoo, conditioner & body wash. The outdoor space was great for snores after dinner! There is a solo stove and a charcole grill. The amenities are not listed on the air b and b site so I was worried at first but I was pleasantly surprised that it had everything we needed to include a microwave and coffee maker! Mark was a very responsive and wonderful host.

What a fantastic stay we had! Such peace away from the hustle and bustle! The nature and quiet was so relaxing! Kasey was very responsive and the home was exactly as posted! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy this space!

We had an awesome stay at this Vermont house. The lake is right there with a private dock, and the view from the deck made for some great coffee mornings. The hot tub was perfect—especially on the rainy days—and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook without hauling a bunch of extras. The location was ideal, close to farms, creemees, and a couple solid co-ops. The host was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We also appreciated the clearly marked bins for recycling and compost—nice to see a place that takes extra effort to be sustainable. Would definitely come back.

Gorgeous property. Great location. Spectacular vacation house, roomy and spacious, well maintained and perfect for a large family group. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees, set back from the road with a nice, ample front lawn and a secluded back garden You can sit on the front deck and admire the magnificent mountain view, or you can use as a base to explore large areas of Vermont. The location is within easy reach of hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming and river walks. We spent a lovely day in nearby Burlington and relaxed by Lake Champlain. The hosts, Michal and Brian are kind, gracious and responsive and it was a pleasure to deal with them from the beginning of the booking process and during our stay. Perfect place to escape for a family trip and enjoy the Vermont nature! Mathew is a great host and when we had a problem with the propane he responded super fast to fix the problem with the supplier so we could enjoy our vacation!

Had a great stay, Summer was an awesome host who was always responsive and answered any questions we had. In the winter definitely need a 4x4/AWD but that was also included in the review. Recommend trying to go in one car due to parking and the room was a bit smaller than we thought but overall was a great stay with a lot of local activities to do.

Our family, comprising six adults and a baby, thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here during a busy (solar eclipse) weekend in April. This property is brand new. There are a number of hotel rooms on the property. We stayed at the apartment suite just above the restaurant. The apartment was quite comfortable, offering ample space. It was impeccably clean, and everything was fresh and new. The convenience of having the restaurant just below was a definite highlight, making dining options easily accessible. We could hear noise from the restaurant in the evening but it did not wake our baby or impair our stay. There is a nice waterfall on the property. Proximity to Sugarbush was very good. Our hosts, TJ and Johnny, for the most part, were attentive and responsive. There was no TV in the unit or dressers in the rooms (we were told they may be adding a TV in the future). There was a bluetooth speaker for music. Our overall experience was excellent and we wholeheartedly recommend

Barbara was a wonderful host. The space was perfect for the four of us over the holiday break. Our kids especially enjoyed the game room and took advantage of the puzzles. Cozy home with great views and privacy.

Anna and Robert are great hosts. This is our second stay and it does not disappoint. If you are looking for peaceful rest and relaxation this is your spot. The house and property are truly a slice of heaven! Hope to go back for a third time!!!

We loved Twin Ponds Cottage. The property is quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quaint with everything you need. Lew wants you to be comfortable! The pond is beautiful and has nice sized bass to catch from the rowboat. On a clear night, the sky is phenomenal-you can see the Milky Way and make a wish on a shooting star!

Peace on Earth. If you enjoy nature and solitude, this cabin is idyllic. The pond, the trails - it’s all for you. You will see no one and hear no one. A very special property only 11 minutes from Stowe. My wife and I had an incredible stay.

A real gem in Vermont. We had a perfect stay in the house, super comfortable beds and couches, and great kitchen. Both cozy and modern, had everything we needed, and absolutely gorgeous views. Was the perfect location to get away from city life, really enjoyed relaxing in the house after bike rides exploring Vermont on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, which is very close to the house. Christa was a great host, touching base to make sure we had everything we needed - but the house had it all, so the stay was incredibly easy. Would definitely come back!

The cottage on Joes Pond was well furnished, super clean and equipped with everything needed! (Bring a bag of ice) Cottage was 100 steps to the lakefront/dock and the pergola on the lawn was a perfect spot to sit in the shade and watch the grandkids jumping off the dock. We tied the kids floaties and my brothers’ kayak to the dock and the “pond playground” was complete! The outdoor deck facing the lake was large and well furnished including a propane grill. Plenty of comfortable beds and space for everyone. The girls fell in love with the neighbors goldens and voila, they had a swimming partner. Very comfortable and Susan/Jeff were great hosts.
