Cabin holiday rentals in Washington County

My stay is hard to review. Was looking so forward to this weekend getaway but was battle tested with sickness and terrible weather. Nothing bad to say about the listing just bad timing making it hard to fully enjoy. I would highly recommend this stay otherwise as it was definitely capable of providing what I had wanted. The cabin was super cozy and had all the amenities for a lovely stay in a truly magical place. We were there in late spring and the hiking in the area was spectacular. Would highly recommend the cabin and location. The cabin had a notebook with helpful suggestions for restaurants and stuff to do in the area which was really helpful. The hosts were responsive with any questions we had.

Melissa’s listing was a great find during a time when there very few places to stay in the greater Vermont area due to the solar eclipse. She was very responsive even before we reached the Airbnb, gave very useful advice about getting around and local attractions, and had a beautiful space for us to enjoy a weekend trip.

Stunning natural surroundings, the cabin is nestled in valley by a brook, among the mountains, near trails, farms, and skiing. Lisa had some really nice touches and the house is well maintained, clean, and fun.

My husband and I had the perfect R&R getaway here! It rained the whole time but the hot tub was a wonderful touch, on a cold/dreary day. The house had everything we needed for our stay and the short walk to Blueberry Lake was very peaceful. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Karma cabin was beyond wonderful. We booked it hoping for a calm weekend away and it certainly delivered. The bedroom (2nd floor) has the bed facing a massive window so if you leave the curtains open you wake up to the most beautiful sight of trees— we spent hours just relaxing, watching the rain, the birds, and the gentle swaying of the branches. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook, and there was a bonus grill outside too! The Karma cabin was spotless when we arrived— it’s clear Claudia puts great care into the space. She shared lovely recommendations for nearby hikes, food options (great cafe called the Roastery a short drive away), and breweries. She was responsive and thoughtful, checking in if we needed anything. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus, we sat out with morning coffee (and sometimes breakfast) while our pup sniffed to her hearts content. We will definitely be back for another visit!

This was a perfect space for us and our service dog. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils that you need. Pamela thought of e very detakl ended for a peaceful a d relaxing stay.

My stay was wonderful. The surrounding area was incredibly beautiful. It was a peaceful place to get away from day-to-day life.

Peaceable Nation, is exactly that. Super unique and cozy, perfect for our family and dog. Dave was incredibly accommodating and responsive! We loved the goodies when we arrived and learning how Peaceable Nation came to fruition. Definitely trying to make it out for a weekend this summer!! Thank you again!!!

One of the reasons why we love staying at the cabin is Carol's responsiveness. She is always very quick to respond to questions or problems. The cabin gives us plenty of room to spread out, kitchen amenities like home, plenty of property to go for walks and a genuinely rural atmosphere within 20 minutes of downtown Montpelier. Had a beautiful time with my family and dogs! Beautiful home and surrounding views. The fire place inside and fire pit outside was a lovely thing. Absolutely no service but WiFi connectivity was excellent. Pre save your destination before leaving the house.

The cabin is well stocked and cozy. The location is very convenient and only few minutes away from the town center and restaurants. We would love to come back soon!

Beautiful log cabin construction with absolutely stunning dining table and well appointed furniture throughout the spaces. It had all the amenities one would expect to find in a fully functional kitchen with a few added extras like a French press coffee maker and coffee grinder. Tasty filtered water available from the refrigerator is always a plus. We picked the right weekend with fall colors on full display with a beautiful view over looking the valley with Highway 100. There was even a fully functioning farm stand at the entrance to the drive up the hill to the cabin. No TV's in the downstairs living space was just right for a family vacation. TV was upstairs near the bedrooms, if you can't do without it. An added bonus included a basement space with air hockey table and a rowing machine. We would definitely stay here again if we were vacationing in this area.

Beautiful place, older but very well-maintained w period details (exposed beams, etc). More spacious than it looks in photos, great space for 2 people. We were there in winter and had several inches of snow, but house was warm and no difficulty with travel with AWD (road and driveway both plowed).

Very lovely home. The layout was conducive to engaging with each other. The home as nice or nicer than the photos . I would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was on the most beautiful piece of land where you can just get lost in its beauty. I loved just sitting and watching the creek. The house itself was beautifully decorated with lots of fun and unique details and everything we would need to be comfortable for our stay. We really hope to go back someday; we loved it very much. Definitely would recommend!

This cozy cabin is the quintessential Vermont experience. The location is top notch and waking up to the sound of the flowing river right outside was incredibly soothing. Laura was a phenomenal host; very communicative and personable. Should we find ourselves back in the area we will absolutely stay here again.

This was a last minute trip planned for my children and myself for a quick get away to VT for New Year’s. We wanted some snow and the mountains and we got just that. The cabin was adorable and we loved it. We brought our rescue dog that we got a few days after my dad passed this summer. We brought my mom as well so she can enjoy being with the family for New Year’s after losing my father. Overall it was a wonderful time away from our crazy lives. We loved it and love VT. Highly recommend!
