Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Washington

It was such a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife to see walking through the back yard. It was the perfect location to catch the early Ferry to Washington Island.

stayed for a second time for our 30th anniversary. They added a king bed. We love the place! its beautiful, on the water and next to a great restaurant.

We stayed at Winding Down for our 25th anniversary. We've been coming to Door County for over 25 years, and we've stayed at some nice places. But this is easily the nicest we've encountered. The space is expansive, but still cozy, quiet, serene and inviting. It is also immaculate. We enjoyed the selections of artwork and the attention to detail throughout the house. At one point we needed James's help with the refrigerator, and he was quick to provide assistance. It was also really enjoyable chatting with him. If the place is available again during our anniversary week, we'd love to return.

We loved the waterfront location and had been trying to get a stay here for a while. The cottage was comfortable, cheery, and had a nice kitchen setup. It was in a great location, easily walkable to downtown for the farmer’s market or to the beach. The garden and outdoor living space was spectacular as well and we spent time reading and eating on the deck, along with visits from the resident dog Sara. Alisa is a personable hostess and this is a great place to stay. We love Sturgeon Bay and the accommodations made it a great weekend getaway.

We enjoyed a long weekend with both sets of parents and our toddler and infant. Lots of thought and detail at the house that made it feel cozy and comfortable. Beautiful space! Having the kids room with kid stuff made things so nice and convenient. One thing we didn’t realize when booking was that one of the advertised bedrooms was in the open loft so to access the other bedrooms and upstairs bathroom you were walking though the bedroom space. Would book again.

We had a good stay. Quick 2 night trip and this property was perfect for what we needed. The home was clean and matched the description and photos. Thank you for hosting us.

This was a great place to stay. Very welcoming community, and just a very nice house. So many things to do around the area. Definitely would recommend this place. Neighbors were a little loud, but not much she can do about that. I would definitely stay here again!

We were looking for a beautiful and peaceful stay while we explored the Door County area and that is exactly what we got! The house itself was very clean and looked just like the photos. The property looks out onto Moonlight Bay and has incredible views. It was a little chilly during our stay so we did not get to enjoy all of the amenities but everything that was mentioned was present in the backyard/garage! The only thing we were disappointed in was that the dock wasn’t out. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this stay!

What a beautiful place to stay. Walking distance of downtown, restaurants/bars, and the beach. Loved the balcony. Spotless!

We loved our stay it was extremely clean, able to walk everywhere and so quiet you do not hear the other guests. Also the patio was private you did not see the other guests. Bed was comfortable and nice furnishings. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at this cute studio apartment. Everything you need for a short vacation. Minutes away from great restaurants and close to scenic locations. The best part is the view from the studio and the pier/beachfront. Good recommendations from host! A must stay!

Off the beaten path after days of exploring Door County by car. Nice & quiet!

Great Stay at Rob & Suzie’s Flat in Egg Harbor. Nice central point to explore the rest of Door County and walkable to all of Egg Harbor restaurants and cafes. Definitely recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay for my trip to Door County! The apartment was super clean and decorated so nicely. The apartment is located in a nice quite neighborhood and other guests on the property were quiet and lovely. I'd absolutely stay here again!!

It’s a great place to stay for a weekend trip to door county. Everything is a 15 minute drive. Great place to unwind after a long day, and quiet.

We loved our stay. It was well appointed and the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. The Beautiful surroundings felt very private but we were only a couple minutes from downtown Sister Bay. Sorphea is a fantastic communicator and very welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again.

This cabin is absolutely cute and cozy. The fireplace was perfect and there was plenty of firewood on site to purchase. A nice getaway for me and my dogs!!

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It is perfect for a lowkey getaway and the location can’t be beat. Hoping to come back again soon!

Cozy place with a lot of charm & neat amenities. Close to Marinette/Menominee & easy commute to amazing hiking. Would happily stay here again!

Beautiful house. Lots of stairs so not that easy on the legs but ample room for everything you’d need. Amazing fire pit areas, billiard room with several hang out spots, and a master with exquisite views. And can’t forget the Sauna shower, absolutely amazing heading to bed so relaxed

Amazing place -- the island and bay are beautiful, the cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a weekend (or more) of relaxation & fun. Hosts are friendly & responsive. We had a wonderful time, hope to return again in the future.

Fantastic place especially with a group. Boasting 10 real beds was a huge hit for us. Keep in mind the upstairs shower has a very low shower head but does detach and would be great for kids or a bath. The parking is great, the hose outside and the electrical outlets really are a nice touch. The best was probably the fire pit with tons of seating and the grill which while used worked perfectly

We stayed at the Cabin for a girls vacation. Location was perfect for visiting surrounding attractions. Chad sent an extremely helpful guide to the area. Cabin was great. Clean and plenty of space. Would stay here again.
