Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Washington Heights, Manhattan

Very quiet street in the South Bronx. The place itself gives you plenty of privacy. You can take peaceful walks to one of the many Deli’s or grocery stores once you arrive. There a so many close by. Laundromats very close by as well if you need to use one. Tano and Clarissa even have a list of places they recommend as soon as you get inside. Subway is 6 minutes away that can get you to midtown in about 25 minutes. We went on this trip because we wanted to see games at Yankee stadium. And it is very convenient. You can go on subway to the game or even uber and it is not hard at all. Tano was very communicative with us. Any time we had a question he would answer right away. We would definitely stay again.

Great place! Clean and brand new appliances. Preethi responds immediately and is super accommodating. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

My second stay at Youngnan's house. It is a house that I always prefer, without looking at the alternatives. The interior of the house is extremely practical, Youngnan does not miss anything, It offers a fully equipped house for the comfort of its guests in the house. The location is very good in terms of transportation to NJ and NY. The house is in a location where you can easily get a bus and reach everywhere without getting tired. Also, the market is within walking distance. It is a house that I always leave very happy. I recommend it to everyone.

Jian's place is clean, comfortable, and a good value for a short stay. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the apt is a 15 minute bus ride to downtown Flushing, and 5 minutes by uber from LGA. The neighborhood is quiet, and I felt very safe walking late at night. However you will hear the planes taking off from LGA. Check-in is via a keypad and Jian responds quickly to any questions. There was a glitch at the beginning of the stay which Jian resolved quickly. The nearest subway into Manhattan is from downtown Flushing, so traveling into Manhattan can take 90 minutes, or even longer if returning late at night as the buses from Flushing run less frequently. The bed and linens are comfortable and of good quality, the bathroom has a large step-in shower with great water pressure and instant hot water. Flushing is a great destination for authentic Chinese food with more variety and better prices than Chinatown. I definitely recommend Jian's place.

Stephania and Elimil have been the best hosts I have ever had! The friendliness and efficiency in their help has been in parallel to great hotels. The house is in a beautiful spot next to a park and river, yet with walking distance to super market and Westfield mall. The appliances all functioned great and updated with newest technologies. Clean and efficient house that made us feel like home. Area felt friendly and safe too.

I enjoyed my stay at this very clean and beautiful studio in Edgewater. The space was accurately described and everything looked how it does in the pictures. The town is wonderful. I’d love to stay here again when I return to New York.

It was my first time in NYC and Airbnb. This place was very good, subway is accessible for easy travel. Laila was very helpful, guided well and supported to understand instructions better. As a first timer, it was very helpful to have a host who was very patient. I fully recommend staying here for anyone visiting NYC!

Very clean, everything is as described, getting to downtown NY about 26 minutes by line 166T . The place is worth the price, but I believe that because of the couch that is uncomfortable for sleeping, a place suitable for 2 adults or children . Plus, it's a plus . The store is about a 20-minute walk away. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The photos reflect the actual condition of the property .

Nancy was a great host. Noticed a few issues from previous renters but Nancy put them right straight away. Very friendly, Very welcoming and an amazing host. Nancy made our 12 day stay feel like a second home. We were very comfortable and enjoyed every minute.

I had a great stay here. The unit was just as described, clean and comfortable. There is a short walk and bus ride to NYC that takes about 30-45 minutes, so plan ahead. Nestor was responsive by phone and a great host overall.

Our family had a great stay at Monica’s! Very easy check in / check out process. Space was as shown in photos, location was great with easy access to subway and metro north, and a lovely park just across the street. The home was very family friendly with a separate sleeping space and provided pack and play for our daughter. We’ll be back!

Suncerae was a wonderful and kind host for my stay at the studio apartment. She was prompt in responding to my questions during the booking process and for my stay. I appreciate that. The studio was exactly as posted. I found it to be extremely clean and neat. The feel of the apartment was calming, well taken care of, and definitely felt like a home away from home. The building was so very quiet. The view out of the windows was serene with beautiful trees and greenery. The location was perfect for my needs. I highly recommend staying with Suncerae and I hope to do so again in the future. It was a pleasure to meet Suncerae.

Location Location Location! Very hard to find a neat place to stay on UWS. This apartment has great restaurant selection right at the door step. Either for a cozy dinner or kids crazy morning routine. Keep in mind this is NYC so not elevator access if you need but it was ok for us even with stroller. Overall recommend this place if you budget allows.

There was a lovely welcome package with a note, cookies and water awaiting us. They texted through Airbnb to make sure our stay was going well and we didn't need anything. Overall it was such an easy and relaxing experience that made our first trip to NYC a delight. I would come back again and highly recommend Timothy's place to everyone!!! Thanks so much.

Anthony is the best host I’ve ever had! So friendly, welcoming, and super responsive. He has clearly poured ample love and care into the space—it is immaculate, stylish, well-equipped, and truly an easy Williamsburg oasis!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Jay’s place is clean and spacious. It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to Hmart and many Korean restaurants. Jay is also a great host and communicated with me every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend 👍
