Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Washington

Appreciated a quiet comfortable place to stay. --Plenty of space for everyone - yay --super comfortable beds -- yay --overall clean -- yay --guests should know that even though this is a ranch, there are steps and differing levels on the first floor in case you are traveling with elderly or mobility impaired folks. --host was very responsive to questions -- yay

The house was absolutely lovely! Kellie was wonderful, and very responsive. Checked out and met the cleaning who was very nice and friendly as well! 100/10 recommend The Jewel!

This home was perfect for a short weekend in Hermann. It was walking distance from everything in town but not in a busy area that would’ve kept us up at night. We had one very minor thing come up during our stay, but Rachel was very quick to respond and resolved the issue promptly. Plenty of mirror space for a girls weekend so everyone can get ready. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire place was clean, beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the neighborhood was great with a park and a even a few restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. It was the perfect place for our family and a great launching point for family adventures at places like Grant's Farm and the Magic House. Easy access to grocery stores and plenty of other restaurants and parks as well.

What a cool little river house. The kids really enjoyed hiking down to the river and hanging out.

Every single guest has asked when we can book again. The Location is phenomenal. The house is beautiful and clean. Sitting on the back porch for morning coffee or looking out the front, seeing a stunning view of the pasture, it's a panoramic view of Missouri's countryside—only 6 mins out from downtown. Highly recommend.

A perfect layout for an extended family representing ages from 3 to 74. The most impressive aspect was how well appointed it was. From silverware to cooking essentials to appliances, we needed nothing. Throughout the house was thoughtful touches such as games or children's toys or even a bluetooth speaker we could connect to. Outside was a fire pit that included a stack of seasoned fire wood and even fire starters and plenty of chairs that allowed us to enjoy the outdoor evening. With both upstairs and downstairs living spaces, our large group never felt crowded. With the huge dining room table we could all enjoy our meals together. After renting perhaps a hundred AirBnBs, this it the best.

Dawn and whole family were super sweet and super easy to coordinate with. We definitely recommend and when we come back to the area we will be sure to stay again! Thank you so much. Your place was perfect for our little family and “home base” for a wedding ❤️❤️❤️

I really appreciated staying at Floyd's place. It was cute and comfortable. The only surprise was the layout - the second bedroom was only accessible via the first bedroom. It was very hard to find a place with a bedroom that had 2 single beds and this definitely fit the bill. But Floyd was very accommodating and responsive when we needed the heat turned up he did it right away. I would definitely stay here again.

The host on AirBnB is a company so if you need something it's best to call Richard who is the owner of the home. Mr. Richard is very welcoming. We were happy to receive farm fresh eggs and honey during our stay. The stay here was the perfect balance. Many places to visit in Hermann and we were able to go back in the evenings and enjoy the peaceful farm.

Perfect stay at Tony's place for our biking the Katy Trial to Augusta/Defiance winery/brewery day! Tony had a fire going and everything ready upon arrival. He went above and beyond leaving us fresh tomatoes, basil, honeycomb, candy, wine, etc. Tony is super responsive via text messaging, and there was not a single detail missed! The beds were comfortable, the house had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Best airbnb host we have ever had!

This cute apartment is right in the middle of everything. The back porch is peaceful, and the front is overlooking Main Street. It is perfect for being close to everything in St Charles. The host was prompt with answers to questions and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.

Olga was a great host and very responsive! Gave local recommendations for transportation that were very helpful as we were first-time visitors. Would stay again!

My friends and I came here for a much needed weekend to relax and recharge, and this place was absolutely perfect for that! The property is beautiful and quiet, the fire pit is wonderful and well-appointed, the inside is very spacious and I loved the cabin theme, and had lots of nice little touches - a personal welcome sign, s’more’s supplies, and more. We felt very peaceful here. It’s close to the meramec caverns and river as well which is great!

Very nice and clean. Appreciated all the necessities were well stocked beyond our expectations. Hot tub clean and private. Everything was great, will likely stay again in future.

This is a lovely location for a vacation. It is a bit distant from the city, but we had a great time there. It has a large lot and provides excellent privacy. There are three levels, including the basement, and we can be out from each level easily. Robyn is very attentive and accommodating. We needed a large pan because we intended to cook spaghetti. We asked Robyn, and she brought a few, but they were still small. To our surprise, she went to the nearest town to buy a brand new one. One of the TVs was not connecting, and she offered to bring a new TV. She is truly kind. Additionally, she arranged free wood and fuel for the firepit in the backyard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun with the kids. we would be fine with staying there again.

Jeff provided a peaceful, clean, and comfortable space to retreat to for a couple days. We felt right at home! We appreciated Jeff’s kindness and great communication.
