Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

10/10 stay at Brad’s home! Beautiful surroundings and home. Looked just like the photos and we appreciated having all of the amenities listed out. Wonderful and proactive communication by Brad and the Hatcher Pass area is stunning. We were sad we only had only had one night in this area. There were so many kind little touches including a hand written note and snacks when we walked in along with bathroom amenities that most airbnbs don’t have. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!!

This was a cozy comfortable place to stay. I stayed in all day one day as I was under the weather. It was comfortable and I had a great view so I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. Wow! Beautiful and scenic location. Neat and tidy home with a very homey feel. A great home base for travel adventures around Alaska. I loved the kitchen with everything within reach and everything right where you’d expect to find it. Lots of artistic touches around this lovely home. The one issue with the neighborhood was multiple unleashed and overexcited dogs jumping and barking, circling around me during an after dinner walk. I just chose to walk elsewhere. We would definitely choose Overlook Nook again.

What a nice place to stay! Such sweet thing to have homemade muffins for breakfast, too. We also loved the beautiful Alaskan views. Highly recommend staying here.
