Idyllic farm right on the Fulda

Our farm is located in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve in a quiet part of Sandberg on a 7,000 sqm property. The Fulda flows directly through our farm and invites children to splash and play. In 1998, the former farm was completely renovated, with a lot of love for detail. In the garden you will find sun loungers, hammocks, a barbecue corner as well as a frog pond and a children's play area with a swing and a stilt house, so there is enough space to relax and unwind.

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

Our 2 apartments are located on the 2nd floor of the main house of a former farm in Rengersfeld, a small district of Gersfeld. It is green and quiet here. The apartments are new and lovingly furnished. Both apartments share a large balcony, which is separated by green plants. We run a small organic restaurant, the "Dorfstube Rengersfeld," which is only open on weekends (until max. 11 pm). Our guests are quiet connoisseurs.

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

Mechthild was a very kind and accommodating host who welcomed us warmly. She had an open ear for all our concerns. The place was very lovingly prepared and we found our favorite spot in the hammock. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay with her again on another Rhön trip.

The four of us had a great stay in Hösbach. The beautiful house and the surroundings with the bamboo garden speak for themselves. The Bamboo House is an architectural masterpiece. Everything perfect for a relaxed extended weekend. Thanks again to Stefanie for the unique experience in the bamboo garden/house. Would love to come back anytime!
