Beachfront holiday rental in Wealden District

We have a wonderful stay at Clair’s cottage . It was perfect for us .. full of character and charm and so close to the sea. Clair as so helpful and incredibly responsive to messages . We hope to return and stay a little longer next time 💕

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Highlights were: amazing location right on the quiet beach, lovely garden with shade for hot days plus sunny spots too, large comfortable open plan living space, the coffee machine (complete with supply of pods), welcome basket, great position between Rye and Hastings - great for cafes and mooching round interesting shops - and variety of local walks on beaches and in countryside. And the wonderful hot weather we had! Mark was great at communication and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

I had a really lovely stay! Paul was really responsive over message and flexible in letting me drop luggage and check in early as the flat was ready due to an early check out. The flat is so well stocked and Paul goes above and beyond, supplying bread, milk eggs, cereals etc and the bathroom is stocked with everything you need should you forget anything. Location is very near the train station and St Leonards and Hastings is lovely. I found a lot of things were closed on a Sunday or Monday but there was still a lot to wander around and I loved the peacefulness.

A delightful beach cabin experience. I booked this beautiful home for a recent girls trip. Sofia allowed us to get access early as several of us had come on overnight flights. The home is easily locatable and perfectly situated. We spent four nights, enjoying long dinners at the dining room table, sitting on the back deck, enjoying the stunning view and sleeping peacefully in the lovely bedroom. Sofia was responsive throughout our visit, and even let us check out a little bit later than planned so we could further enjoy the beach. note that this is a very low tide beach. If you’re hoping to swim, you will likely need to go to another part of the beach. The water is ankle deep goes out at that level for a very long way. The kitchen is very well appointed, the beds are super comfortable. I am a stickler for having decent hot water for a nice bath, and that was not a problem at all. Thank you so much to Sofia and her partner. We look forward ved every minute.

Really enjoyed our stay, had our border collie dog and we walked everywhere. Lots to see and lots to do. You can see and hear the sea from the apartment, plenty of places to eat and drink. Place was comfortable and immaculate

Thank you Mathew for allowing us to stay with our dogs. Even though our stay was an emotional one, we felt right at home and that made things a whole lot easier. Being Autistic with other disabilities/difficulties, it can be very hard travelling and staying away at different locations. From the moment we arrived we felt like we belonged which really helped me to cope, thank you We loved the basement apartment, it was perfect from everything it offered, to the unique quaintness of its character, to how quiet it was, to feeling so warm and inviting. We look forward to returning again

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom flat in Worthing! The location couldn’t have been better — just a 2-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by lovely restaurants, cafes, and plenty of things to do in the area. The flat itself was amazing: stylishly furnished, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well thought-out. Every room had its own charm, with tasteful decor and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into making this a welcoming and functional space — everything worked perfectly and felt just like home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Worthing. We’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. Absolutely stunning location with an amazing view overlooking farmland, but only a short walk on to camber sands beach (2 minutes). We sat out every night and watched the sunset over the back of the caravan listening to all the wildlife. It's in a busy park but tucked in a corner so you wouldn't even know! The park itself was so good for the kids, loads of activities and entertainment on site to keep them occupied! The caravan is nicely laid out with lots of room for everyone (family of 5 + dog). We would definitely visit again!

Dolly’s Delight was an absolute treat. We very kick enjoyed our stay there. Superb accommodation, with luxurious bedding, 2 good showers, very well equipped and with a view of the sea. By night the stars shone brightly. The Bay is a lovely quiet park but with the benefit of the facilities at the main park 1 mile up the road. We ate at The Boathouse one evening and the food was very good with some good choices for children. We’ll definitely be booking again. Thanks Jenny.

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

A lovely little apartment close to the seafront and next to our favourite pub!! The flat was clean, and had everything we needed. The only slight issue was finding the building but Bec has said she’ll amend the instructions!! It was a bit noisy between 11pm-midnight and then when the nightclubs emptied, but we weren’t too disturbed. It is very close to a great range of restaurants, the Lanes and the pier. A fantastic base for exploring beautiful Brighton!

Stayed for 2 nights with friends, was a lovely apartment - very spacious and clean. Also had sea views from the window, and is on the main street so easy to access. TV has disney+ and other subscription services. Things to note is that you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the property and that there's an induction hob (can be a bit of a learning curve) A wonderful stay with a very friendly and communicative host

Ruhena was a fabulous host, he was a friendly and polite guy and just a phone call away. He was extremely helpful and nothing was too much for him. You had your privacy, but if you wanted something, he would be there to help. We stayed for 2 nights and on arrival we found the accommodation to be very clean and tidy and that we had bread, milk and eggs left for us as well as cereals and fruit and bottled water. There was even shower gel and shampoo for us to use. There was off road parking for our car and the beach was a short walk away. Brighton town centre was just a 15 minute drive, which Ruhena kindly arranged a taxi to take us there as I didn’t fancy driving. We had a fantastic 2 nights stay, which was enhanced by Ruhena’s help and support. We can fully 100% recommend this place to stay. This will be our forever place to stay if we were to visit the area again. Thank you so much Ruhena for your commitment in making our stay totally enjoyable.

As it turned out my wife & I caught a cold from Hell at the last moment, and because we were visiting an elderly relative in a care home and the other house guests are also of a certain age we decided not to go , but here is the comment from the two guests who stayed . “ Everything was fine, very well equipped, a little shabby in places, excellent position and parking worked well.” From my side Phil made everything run smoothly so I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment. Great location for Brighton centre with beautiful views of the beach and pier. Flat was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The host kindly arranged an earlier check in which enabled us to properly start our break earlier. Communication was easy with clear instructions

Fabulous place with a wonderful host, we will definitely return. Barbara was brilliant host and we loved our stay, the little extra bits like tea and coffee were really helpful as we arrived later in the day. We will definitely be returning and will stay longer next time.

Super unique space with amazing views and perfect for a weekend away. House was exactly like the pictures. Beautiful finishes, and walkable to town and the train. Sweeping views of the beachfront.

The Raft is a really unique and special place to stay, if you are considering a trip to Shoreham, this is where you should be! Lisa and Mike were lovely hosts, offering all the special touches like homemade marmalade, local bread and a look around the studio, making for a super friendly welcome. We loved watching the spring tide, waking up with the sun in the skylight and making a meal with everything we needed at The Raft. The bed was super comfy and the place was actually bigger than we had expected with ample room for two. If we could stay for longer, we would! Thank you
