Holiday rentals with breakfast in Wealden District

Our stay was lovely and peaceful, exactly what we wanted from an escape from London. The local area is beautiful and it was so easy and inexpensive to get to from London. You can easily walk to Frant village centre on footpaths with the instructions that our host gave us. Gayle (Moppy) was so helpful and responsive and gave local recommendations before hand and during our trip.

I had 3 nights staying at this delightful house, very happy with my room and amenities, would definitely book again.

Beautiful little spot, has everything you need. Jen went out of her way to make us welcome on arrival with Prosecco, chocolates and even doggie biscuits.

Lovely stay in the flat - place was clean and tidy and felt right at home. Buses are within a 5 min walk so getting into Brighton town centre/beach by public transport was easy. 10/10 would stay here again

A lovely place to stay. I have been here before and came back as it’s so nice. Spotlessly clean and the treats make it all the more welcoming. Love the large shower and the big comfortable bed. Nikki popped round to check all was ok which was a lovely touch. Also the local pub just 10 minutes away serves lovely food.

From the moment we were enthusiastically welcomed at the door by Calypso, we knew we were going to have a happy week in Portslade. Both cats were very friendly and affectionate with all of us, making it a home from home for a family of four with two small boys. The home offers plenty of room for a getaway and has all the amenities you'd normally need if you were at home. Our elder son appreciated having a climbing frame in his room too! The pub next door was missing some of its fencing while we were staying, which removed a bit of privacy from the back garden, but thankfully when we were indoors we didn't notice any of the noise or smoke from the beer garden unless we had the back windows open. Our boys loved having open access to football pitches behind the pub. Parking was usually ok nearby but we struggled for a space one evening when there was a big event at the nearby Hindu temple. Bus and train connections into places like Brighton, Hove and Worthing were excellent.

We LOVED our stay here and plan to come back when our dog ( currently a puppy) is big enough to enjoy the longer walks on offer in the area! Helen is one of the best Airbnb hosts we have met who sent us so many great tips in advance that we could have stayed a few weeks and prob not seen it all. The apartment had everything we needed and was very cosy and comfortable! Bed was great too! We will be back soon! thanks so much for having us Helen : ). George, Emma & Pepper

The Old Workshop Cottage is set in a beautifully peaceful location. Tessa is a truly wonderful host, attentive and caring and nothing was too much trouble for her. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved our time here, there is so much to explore in the area. We would highly recommend this cottage. Our daughter loved relaxing in the hammock!

We had stayed here before, two years. Ago. The place is just as good, even better with some upgrading, notably aircon (doubles as heater when cold) which was fantastic given the hot & sunny weather this year. Had a great meal at the Magpie, overlooking the river.

What can I say? I stayed for the night as my children had an overnight stay with their Brownies nearby so I thought I’d treat myself to a little getaway I cannot fault my stay, it truly was a wonderful stay. My hosts were very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. My accommodation was spotless! WiFi, Sky with the full package (I don’t even have the full package at my own home) NF & Prime Fridge was stocked with fresh milk, soft drinks & beers Breakfast stuff available also which was very kind of them 2 minutes walk from Tescos, there is also a big shopping centre which is about a 20 minute drive away I really felt at home here, I would 100% stay here again & would also recommend to my friends. Benny was really great with communication as I booked very last minute! She also kindly let me check in much earlier and I also checked out a little later due to my own fault of not realising checkout was at 10am! The place is spotless and is well equipped, there were breakfast items left which was thoughtful and generous of Benny. The location is beautiful and peaceful - lots of cute lambs and ponies and even deer! A short drive takes you into forest row where you have a good selection of shops

We had a fantastic few days at Simon's apartment in Brighton. It is the perfect distance from the tourist attractions at the beach/the Laines, the train station and some of the other neighborhoods. The apartment was cozy and comfortable with fun decorative touches. Simon was friendly and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed including a great view to the Dungeness lighthouse. Hosts were really helpful and responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Wow - the apartment was clean, comfy and had just about everything you could wish for! The food etc left for us was amazing too 😁 The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. It was so peaceful and relaxing we didn't want to leave! Wish we had booked for longer so we will definitely be back again soon 😁😁

Stunning cabin with absolute luxury detail. we loved it and was the perfect tonic to get away from the madness of life

I would say this is one of my favorite places in the UK, truly a hidden gem!! No one would ever regret coming here. Carol and Clive are very helpful and caring. They have a fantastic home in a lovely neighborhood with a huge, beautiful garden. You can spot sheep every day, and they take good care of every plant and even prepare food for the birds. They also leave a bowl of water outside for passing dogs, so sweet! The bed was super comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. The whole village of Lamberhurst is filled with birdsong, and every corner is peaceful and charming. I loved all the restaurants I visited, and everyone I met was genuinely friendly. I’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time. Thanks a mill for everything :)

I had a comfortable room in Jane’s home. Other guests arrived and we had a fine time connecting in Jane’s kitchen. Jane laid out a simple nourishing breakfast, made coffee or tea. The location was excellent. Jane was a considerate and friendly hostess. Thank you!

Jan’s place is just lovely, set in beautiful countryside and stunning gardens. Peaceful and quiet. Super generous continental breakfast. Comfy huge SK bed. We enjoyed interacting with Badger the dog too. Thanks for a great stay Jan.

Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The place is in such a lovely setting along with the space being cosy and inviting! We hope to return again to explore the beautiful area further!

Sarah greeted us and gave us the warmest welcome, this was an absolutely perfect countryside escape! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully converted stable, tucked away in the stunning Kent countryside. The setting is peaceful and picturesque – a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The space itself was spotlessly clean and styled to perfection, with a lovely blend of charm and comfort. The bed linens were luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay feel extra special. Every detail had clearly been considered with care. We wouldn’t hesitate to return – a real hidden gem!

Jo’s cottage is perfect in every way, so well laid out and excellent amenities. I cannot fault it. Jo has thought of everything and is a very generous host, providing treats and amongst other things, eggs juice bread and butter. Upon entering through a side gate it’s like stepping into a fairy land, a private and beautiful garden and a cottage to relax and unwind in. So well positioned to visit numerous attractions and beaches. The swing seat is a wonderful addition, on a summers day and well into the evening during and after spectacular sunsets it’s a great place to unwind and take in a a gorgeous view. ‘Badger Cam’ is a must! We saw them all the nights we were there along with a fox and this is a great way to watch them uninterrupted. I would highly recommend Jo as a host and her beautiful cottage you won’t be disappointed. We hope to return soon . Thank you Jo
