Cabin holiday rentals in Wealden District

A beautiful property amidst beautiful surroundings. Pictures didn't do the place justice. We were sad to leave as the place had everything, and the host had thought of everything. And the views, just incredible. Total peace, luxury, and some extra pleasant surprises thrown in for good measure. Must book for longer next time...

Vicy's place was lovely. It had everything we could need. You can tell, alot of thought had gone into the cabin to help guests to feel at home. Everything worked and was clean. There was fresh milk, a bottle of water & even wine in the (nicely sized) refrigerator. Snacks had been left for us, fresh eggs and the coffee machine had been filled. The view from the deck is just stunning and there are some lovely routes to walk through, lush green surroundings in every direction. Thankyou all at Turtle farm for our lovely stay. We would definitely enjoy a return visit in the future!

Beautiful cabin - cosy, peaceful and secluded. Loved the outdoor space with eating area, hot tub and fire pit. Mandy was brilliant - very responsive and friendly, and had great recommendations for the area. Alfriston within walking distance, gorgeous village with excellent pubs and shops. Would highly recommend!

I booked this little gem for my partners 40th birthday and it really didn’t disappoint. Very clear instructions on how to find, nothing was too much trouble and the hot tub was warm and ready for our arrival, it was also spotless and had everything you needed. I will 100% be recommending the waterside retreat and will be booking to stay again soon.

Perfect relaxing break! The Lodge for 2ad or the Retreat adjacent for 4, share enormous garden area but both are so private to rent independently with their own facilities. Quality equipment & furnishings & large gas BBQ. Real hot tub (not blow up pool) available on arrival to use 24/7 if you wanted! Lovely touches of Prosecco, chocs & marshmallows to welcome you. Fire pit & outdoor quoits were fun. Comfy bed, double shower and bathrobes provided, along with all necessary basics. Kitchen fully equipped. An inside & an outside fridge were a fab bonus. We had sunshine so could use the sun loungers on the raised decking to appreciate the countryside orchard views. 15mins walk into village to 2 great Gastro pubs if required. Outside covered lounge & TV sounded strange initially but it worked. Kari’s communication was 1st class too. Also appreciated the standard checkout being noon ! Everything has been thought of here. We’ll be back 🥰xx

We had such a great stay at the cabin. It’s so secluded and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit under the stars with our dog. The bed was big and comfy and Nick was a communicative host. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant Air BnB. Great location to visit Eastbourne, Brighton, Rye, Wakehurst etc though the track to it is pretty bumpy so not ideal if you are going out several times a day. However, we went out in the morning & back in the evening & it’s so quiet & peaceful when you are there, it didn’t bother us. Accommodation was exactly like the photos & was so well stocked e.g. welcome basket, milk, dish washer tablets, biscuits etc & they saved our bacon because we forgot dog bowls but there they were in the cupboard; absolutely brilliant 🤩 Extremely clean & beautifully decorated throughout with shampoo & shower gel included. Was made to feel really welcome & our little westie, Minnie, thoroughly enjoyed her week away as well. Probably one of the best Air BnBs we have ever stayed in. Will definitely return when we next visit Sussex 😊😊

Larissa and her partner were so friendly and welcoming. The beautiful little cabin/pool house is situated next to the main house in their garden, which is surrounded by well kept wild gardens and a forest which is very relaxing. The pool is great and really well looked after, Larissa was kind enough to let us know when she intended to come down and use the pool when we were sitting by it. Comfortable inside calm space, with the kind touch of a few eggs and some tasty jam left in the fridge. All the utensils/pans/plates you need for cooking on the hob, just need to bring along your teas/coffees and any little bits :) You can also take a lovely little walk straight from the garden through the forest and into fields, we just enjoyed sitting around the pool and taking some walks. Very relaxing few days. Thanks so much.

I had such a lovely nights stop over. Waking to the view and sounds of the lake in the morning was just amazing and had a lovely breakfast in the cafe. Lovely hosts! Really well equipped for such a compact space. Thanks again, would love to return one day.

Great place from which to explore whitstable, and a lucent place to stay

Unfortunately we had no hot water but Jamie was so responsive! Would love to stay again especially with over weather to make use of the decking :)

Quiet place off the beaten path. If you’re looking for a place to step away from hectic life, this is it. If you’re looking for a walkable urban experience, this is not the place.

Fabulous property. Beautiful location with fantastic views, a real find! Super comfy bed and very well equipped. Great bathroom with large shower. Outside space is a real bonus, adding a whole new experience. Would highly recommend, great value for money. Thank you Lucinda and Simon!

This is a magical place that is truly a gem in the Kent countryside. We stayed for a weekend break and felt very recharged after it. The place was clean, perfect temperature, fully equipped and a lovely place to eat outside! There are lots of pretty places to visit nearby which were fun. Cannot recommend it enough, can’t wait to be back. Thanks Jane!

Stayed for 2 nights 3 days on a little solo trip to Hastings and Rye. The place was in a beautiful area, close to the town centre, seaside and lots of unique antique shops nearby. There is also a passageway up some stairs to a scenic spot overlooking Hastings <2 minutes away! Duncan was very helpful and responsive. I had a very comfortable stay. Just a word of caution that the road leading up to the place is quite narrow and uphill - might be worth noting for more cautious drivers.

Great spot for a short getaway, not far from London or Guildford, yet feels incredibly secluded and like you are far further afield than you are. The site was comfortable and the features like the sauna and outdoor were a real treat. Frank was always keen to help, assisting with our bags and catering for extra demands like a late check-out. Look forward to returning in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay at Graham and Sally’s place! Surrounded by nature and peace, the place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed! We made good use of the tennis court and outdoor sitting area for drinks. The countryside views were stunning and we felt very welcomed (brownies were delish). We’d highly recommend for anyone looking to truly unwind and reconnect. Thank you Sally and Graham! We will most definitely be back soon :)

Really enjoyed my stay here. The space is really well laid out and thoughtfully put together — it felt very comfortable and easy to settle into. The bed was genuinely one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, which made a big difference. Check-in was smooth and easy to coordinate, and everything was exactly as described. The bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need in terms of cutlery and utensils. Joe was a great host, friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience really straightforward. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at the ‘bee house.’ Beautifully furnished throughout and exceptionally clean. Great location and very peaceful. Karen & John were fantastic hosts. Always very responsive and such a kind gesture to leave us cookies and hot chocolate as well as the card. All made for a wonderful stay with my family. Thank you for everything.
