Monthly Rentals in Wedgwood Rock

Another wonderful stay at Nahele and Elysebeth’s (3 months in 2024, three months in 2025)! As we said a year ago, Nahele and Elysebeth are the best - “friendly and prompt communicators, thoughtful and attentive hosts”. The house is well maintained, clean, spacious and comfortably furnished and appointed (see photos and description). Convenient location for our activities. Looking forward to staying again.

Nina was a great and super responsive host. She checked in on us and went above and beyond. The directions were super clear and also had photos. The place is very cute and comfortable. The living area would probably be a bit snug for 4 for a long period of time, but it worked well for us. There is a cute garden patio, a couple of restaurants, and a donut shop within a 3 block (flat) walk. The neighborhood is really cute and friendly, with beautiful gardens and cottages. There are a number of other places that are a further walk and involve some steep hills along the East-West corridors (it is Seattle, after all). There is a Safeway about 10 blocks away and you could take the bus if you preferred. It is on 2 bus lines. It does have private parking for a car. We usually rely on public transport/taxis in Seattle, but a car is pretty helpful in this area. We would absolutely rebook.

This little studio has all your basic needs covered—a big comfy bed, a small desk you can do work on, some clothing shelves, a basic “kitchen” space, and a bathroom with shower & bath. It sits behind the garage, which is detached from the main house, and is right next to bus stops for the 65, which connect you to UW (and downtown by transfer). I enjoyed my time there, particularly walking around the neighborhood, which is quiet and peaceful with lots of trees. Not far away are a pub, a convenience store, some cafes, and a laundromat. I did not have much interaction with the hosts, but they were responsive and helpful over the Airbnb chat. My only minor complaint is some traffic noise from the street nearby (cars & buses) and the occasional garage door opening or closing. Would stay again if I’m in that area!

I was comfortable right away with Susan and Joel and the space, which is like mini apartment. It is set up thoughtfully, has everything one needs. Each day I was in Seattle, I looked forward to going "home" to relax and have a good night's sleep. I would stay there again.
