Whether you want to slow down or go hiking in the nearby Geo-Naturpark, both are possible here.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Alte Schule Altefeld (Old School Altefeld)

The village of Altefeld is located on a high plateau with stud farms mainly for horse breeding around 1900. Relax in an artistically stylishly furnished apartment, which formerly served as the teacher's apartment of the old stud farm school. Strong natural stone walls and fences surround the 3000 m² ambience with plenty of space and free run for dogs. The quiet location amidst fields, paddocks and forests can easily be combined with history, art and culture.

In the middle of Germany is our very nice and modernly furnished apartment for up to 6 people plus a toddler (travel cot) with a cozy covered terrace. In the idyllic little village of Barlissen between Göttingen, Hann Münden and Kassel. Everything is very quickly accessible by car and 5 minutes from the Drammetal highway junction Very recommended for families, friends, work colleagues and craftsmen, everyone is welcome with us :) Car is an advantage!

In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
