Holiday rentals with breakfast in West Ashley, Charleston

Lots of room. Big private back yard for our dog to run around. Fun games in the game room. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

This is the perfect place. Carolyn is modest with her description of her home. This is amazing. The view of the river is great. Home was decorated beautifully. My sister called it fancy. Carolyn gave total access to her home plus detailed instructions for access to the internet. She responds immediately and walks you through whatever you need. Although their are plenty of fish and crabs restaurants near, you don't want to visit one because you can catch your own right from your own private dock. The dock is screen, keeping buzzing insects out. The hom is located across from the public loading docks. I rented jet skis that delivered and picked up rather than meeting at the public dock. The dock is a bonus, especially since it rained. I could sit and watch the rain without getting wet. Probably the most amazing, I saw a dolphin. It came to the dock, looked at me, and swam away. I strongly recommend Carolyn's home.

4 girls and I stayed here for a bachelorette party. It was in a nice location with food nearby and only about a 15 minute drive into downtown. The Airbnb was super cute and clean! The host was very kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to Charleston!

Alessandro was a great host while we celebrated my mothers birthday and Fathers Day with my family. The location was within 20 minutes of most major locations in Charleston, most notably a street of nice restaurants and bars. I would certainly stay again. Thank you Alessandro for hosting my family.

The house was very clean even though our reservation was last minute. Everything was homey and comfortable It had a great backyard especially for our dog. We really only spent the night. We didn’t get in til 8 and were out by 10 am but two rooms at a decent hotel would have been more and I wouldn’t have been as comfortable. Plus we came from a month in Florida and the car was full and we didn’t have to unload!!! The one queen bed was so comfortable I would love to know what it was as I am like the princess and the pea and Goldilocks and I was more comfortable in that bed than even in my own bed! I would definitely stay there again for the bed alone and the hostess. She was out of the country and responded as soon as she got my message that signals got crossed and we needed the code to get in.

This home was so cozy and spacious that I wanted to extend our stay one more day! The reservation calendar showed open dates, but Airbnb’s software did not make it clear how to do so. I called Sue, the owner/hostess, and we determined how to make that work well for both of us. She was so easy to work with! Our visit included the first day of summer. We enjoyed sipping the complimentary Keurig coffees on the upper deck during the cooler morning hours. As daylight warmed the air, awakening birdsongs were followed by echoes of katydid chorus. The antics of squirrels and backyard birds entertained us. Sue is a gracious hostess and wonderful steward of this family-friendly home. She inherited it from her father, an engineer who designed and built this home place for himself. Practical features of this property include a generator, solar panels, and spacious living areas within the house and surrounding yard. Items are intuitively placed throughout the house. We were so comfortable here!

Daniel and Emily were two of the best hosts I have had the measure of dealing with on this platform. Very responsive and accommodating and obviously cared that their guests had an enjoyable experience. The house was perfect for our family. Really appreciated the beach chairs, toys, wagon, and other convenient items that made activities more enjoyable. Will definitely recommend to friends and family for a relaxing accommodation at the beach.

The house was updated and everything was inside was very nice! Lights and music set for us - even the thermostat was set to keep cool! We enjoyed our stay. I would note that you may drive through a transitional area to get to the neighborhood. The subdivision is nice, but we were concerned as we drove there. We felt very safe and weren't concerned once we arrived!

This was my second time booking with this host, and he continues to be responsive and helpful. Check in and check out instructions are simple and clear. The place was also spotless! Will continue to look out for this host as I travel to this area for work periodically.

The place was very cute, and it was the perfect amount of space for our group of 6. They left a bottle of wine and card upon our arrival which was so sweet! Everything was clean, and we had everything we needed for our long weekend. The location was perfect and walkable to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. With it being an older building (like most in Charleston), it was a bit loud due to the renters in the unit above ours, but overall we had the best time and would gladly return.

Master bed was very comfortable, kitchen and linens was well stocked and bathrooms/bedrooms were clean. We felt very comfortable staying here and it was central to most of the things we wanted to do. Thank you!

Quiet, private, great layout, very cute. Loved how quiet and private it was yet in walking distance to King Street and the downtown tourist sites. Very clean and well-appointed, bathrooms larger than expected. Would definitely stay here again!

Rob and Zack were perfect host! The house the breakfast the company was beyond high expectations and would recommend to anyone staying in the area to visit this bed and fantastic breakfast! I can not recommend this place any more than this. #1 choice!

One of the best stays i had! I appreciate Beth me Joe for making me feel like I’m staying at my well know friends place. Such a great energy and atmosphere amd they are amazing and caring people! I loved the fact that I’ve met their family and had a chance to spend some time with them and share the meal. What a great time! I do recommend this place to stay of you ever feel lonely or lost a bit - staying there will recharge you and shows you what is family

I can honestly say that Monica's place was one of the most welcoming, comfortable and charming Airbnbs we've ever stayed at. Do not be put off by the fact that you are staying in the house with Monica and her family. Our stay felt as though we were guests in a cozy Bed & Breakfast, with all the benefits that has to offer. First, Monica was incredibly warm and welcoming, as were the rest of her family. Our room was even more wonderful than the pictures on the website, with an amazing bathroom, comfortable bed, a sitting area, and all the privacy we needed. She also sent us off at 5:45 in the morning for our return flight home with freshly made breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns, fruit, and coffee and tea. Her home was within walking distance of a charming downtown with cute shops and restaurants. Our only regret was that we only stayed here one night! I highly recommend, and would absolutely stay here again.

Catherine’s place was located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and our room had everything we needed. I felt like this was a great deal for exploring Charleston for a couple of days!

Sandie’s place was in a fantastic location, we walked to dinner, ice cream and the local record store. One night we had dinner in her backyard which was beautiful, filled with flowers, blooming bushes, birds and bunnies. Her breakfast really was as good as all previous reviews said, served in a lovely sunroom with amazing coffee and orange juice. The room was private and decorated perfectly, with crisp sheets and an incredibly comfortable bed. Sandie was very kind and understanding, and was fun to talk to. Wish we had stayed longer and will look forward to going back for another visit!!

Fantastic place - friendly staff, easy access to the beach and restaurants. The natural light of the windows made the room a one of a kind experience.

Good location and walkable for most down to the harbour area, some people may need a car. An easy walk to upper King St where great bars and restaurants are located. While we didn’t get use of it, I loved the idea that Not So gave by providing a ‘1-day guide’ around Charleston. Ample parking. The room was very comfortable and peaceful. I didn’t realise the kitchen was shared and the general bathroom was located next to our room but I may have missed that detail in the listing. Overall a great stay and neighbourhood.
