Apartment was very clean and great location between the beach and downtown Charleston.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bungalow Under the Oaks. The space was clean and cozy, good for two people and a small dog. We enjoyed the fenced in yard and short drive to the beach and restaurants.

The stay was great! WiFi was a little spotty - only relevant if you were planning on working from the space. Everything else was great and Jacquelynn was an excellent host

We had a great weekend staying here. The place was very comfortable and everything was clean. It was central to everything we wanted to do on our trip so that was nice. The only issue we had was with the wi-fi being spotty at times. I would recommend this place to stay and would book it again in the future.

Our stay was amazing! Brooke was a fantastic host who always responded quickly and was very friendly whenever we saw her or her family. When we were caught in poor weather, she messaged me and gave us umbrellas so we could stay dry during our trip. A great experience and we all hope to stay here again!!

We absolutely LOVED the carriage house! It was so clean and so welcoming. We felt right at home. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The living room couch was one of the best couches I’ve personally ever sat on. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. It was great having a full kitchen. The air conditioning made the house so cool, even in the 100 degree weather. Daniel Island is beautiful and it has everything you need in a walkable distance. Smythe Park was great for morning and evening walks around the pond. David and Shirlie was very friendly! We will definitely be back!

Katey’s Treehouse was a beautiful oasis in a great neighborhood. Her place was so clean and welcoming! We enjoyed our walks to Shem Creek and quick Uber rides to Sullivan Island and downtown Charleston. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 day stay at Georgia's apartment. Georgia's attention to detail was evident in each room. The furnishings and décor brings comfort and warmth to each space. We enjoyed a lunch of bbq ribs at Saltwater Cowboys (Shem creek) while we watched dolphins swim and pelicans dive for fish. We walked off our meal while striding down the Shem Creek boardwalk. We spent 2 days at Folly beach county park, soft sand and water temperature at 77F was lovely. We took advantage of the umbrella/sand chair rental which is delivered to your chosen beach spot. Upon request, Georgia provided us with big soft beach towels. Lastly, must say Mt. Pleasant is beautiful. I ran throughout the neighborhood (in training for a marathon), each house is beautifully distinctive, folks wave, and many bits of the town's history is displayed on sign plaques throughout. It was a great vacation for us!

We had such a lovely stay at this charming farm cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed—and then some. You can tell a lot of care and thought went into making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive, which made everything even smoother. It was the perfect peaceful getaway and we’d absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Terry’s place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and all the little touches—from fresh towels to local recommendations—made a big difference. Terry was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and respectful of our privacy. The location was also ideal: quiet, safe, and close to everything we wanted to see and do. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying at Terry’s place and would gladly return in the future!

I travel weekly for work, and have yet to find a comfortable place to stay in the Charleston area when I am in town, but “My Happy Place” changed that for me and was well worth the money. The home was very clean and cozy and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. I hope to be allowed back very soon!

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! It was perfect for our baby and pup and close to everything! All of the extras to help minimize the travel burden were super helpful! We plan to come back and visit again soon!

Our stay at Capri & Katie's place was so perfect! The apartment was absolutely beautiful with several modern touches. I really loved the handwritten note and welcome sign they left for us! We also got the best sleep while we were there, because the bed was genuinely like sleeping on a cloud. It was super comfortable! The check in and check out process was so thorough and convenient, and my messages were responded to very quickly. The neighborhood that the Violet Villa was in was also so beautiful, safe, and inviting, and it's only a short walk to the shops at the front of the neighborhood. I really appreciated the book that Capri & Katie compiled with lots of their thoughtful recommendations for cool local places to check out during your visit. We'll absolutely be staying here again next time we're in town!

House was perfect for the weekend while we were visiting for a wedding!

Great Father’s Day weekend at Federica and Gates. The location was superb and it felt like we were 15 mins from EVERYTHING. Amazing clean home that was perfect for our family of 4. Gates is just good people like we should all be down here in the south. Would highly recommend.

This was the perfect home base for our time in Charleston. It was conveniently located, spotless, and very peaceful. So much thought went into making our stay pleasurable. Looking forward to our return trip!

We were in Charleston for a wedding and this was the perfect location for us. It is a very cute apartment, decorated beautifully and fully stocked. The property is above the garage, so we did meet the hosts several times as we came and went. They were super friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend and will likely stay here again.

Dorothy's stay was perfect! It's such a cozy apartment and had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood is beautiful and it was easy to get to downtown Charleston (~15 min away) and other locations via Uber/Lyft. She was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I'd highly recommend!

John’s place on James Island was perfect! The location was ideal—close to everything in Charleston. The space was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. John was super responsive and very accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Our stay in Summerville was wonderful. I loved being able to walk out our door to take a walk downtown or to the park. It was such a restful weekend away.

Lovely place to stay in Charleston as it's in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet and peaceful. Within walking distance to a few restaurants and the park. We loved having the easy parking! The place is clean and comfortable for a couple and we enjoyed all the living spaces. I appreciated there were no heavy cleaning odors as I'm sensitive to smells/scents. The kitchen was well designed and we put it to use! I really appreciated recommendations for downtown restaurants that could accommodate my food allergies. Seems to be well managed and maintained. We hope to come back!

Spent four nights with a friend in Brandy and Bill’s wonderful guest getaway and wish we could have stayed many more nights. Very clean and well appointed space — the kitchen had everything you need (and then some). Bathrooms were spacious and provided towels and washcloths. Beds were comfortable and there is so much space in this guesthouse. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and the property is very relaxing too. Brandy has created a cozy home away from home and we hope to return again. So many nice well appreciated touches. It’s perfectly located in the area too — so close to many of the attractions and also very close to grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommend with no reservations!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, updated, and the perfect size for a couple. Neighborhood was filled with nice homes, was walkable, and very safe and quiet. We were within walking distance to several restaurants within a few blocks and walked to a great, nearby coffee shop for coffee and breakfast. Location was a plus for us; a quick car ride to Charleston, plus only 30 minutes to Folly Beach where we went for a day trip to the beach. Close enough to the action, but a nice hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Hosts were responsive - would definitely recommend!
