Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Coast of the United States

The place is spacious and modern with so many amenities. The view to the outside from several spots on the house is stunningly gorgeous. There is a long deck for relaxing outside and the sunsets are fabulous. Beaches are a short drive away. Everything was perfect. We felt welcomed and cared for in the way things were set up. We would stay here again!

It was a lovely home with a lot of thought in design and artistic details. I appreciated the healthy/happy living indoor plants and loved the hot tub. Very quiet and so amazing to watch the sunrise and sunset from the deck!

Stephanie is the best host I have ever had. Her pre-trip communications, especially her guidance and responsiveness, made planning and anticipating our adventure even more exciting. She was very welcoming on our arrival, and was always available with tips on where to go, what to do, and even making a tennis court reservation for us. She was the epitome of concierge-level customer service. We felt like we were visiting with family. Her home was more lovely than the photographs and descriptions, and we entered that first day to a pristine and uncluttered environment. She even anticipated a need we might have and took care of it for us. We’re already looking at dates for a return visit and feel grateful that Stephanie was our host on this one.

This tiny home on top of the world is simply perfect in every way. The views any which way you look are breathtaking, the decor is lovely and comfortable, anything you could need is there for you, hosts are super responsive— and Julian itself is such a cute town. Lots to see and do- gorgeous hiking, fun kids activities. We can’t wait to come back!

The inside is great, and the outside is even better! We spent a lot of time by the fire pit, and loved exploring the trails. Extremely comfortable and quiet, with a friendly, helpful host.

Great place! Amazingly wide open views from the hot tub.

We loved the place-- very comfy bedding, clean and tidy, and a great kitchen. The area felt very safe and private. The lovely view from the second floor living room windows was particularly precious to us: the quarter of a mile of dune scrubland hosts birds and deer and beyond it, a ribbon of ocean shinning in the sun. We sat at the table or in the living room and watched the sun set into the ocean. I posted a question and Leanna answered within 10 minutes- so prompt and helpful. One caveat: the stairs to the second floor are challenging because of higher steps than is conventional. Someone with hip or back problems could find these stairs difficult. The handrail is secure.

Awesome spot to unwind or use as an adventure Basecamp

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful accommodation with an incredible view overlooking the valley to Mt. Hood. The host was outstanding - great communication, very helpful with all our questions & requests. The apartment was immaculate & more than fully equipped - extra linens, a big supply of towels, snacks galore! The kitchen appliances were great, easy to use, and lots of cooking supplies were provided. For really outdoorsy types, even camping & similar supplies were available. Bed & sofa were super comfortable, Internet connection fast, Smart TV worked well with DVDs available for all tastes. The location was excellent, too - short-ish drives to Mt. Hood & various hikes in the National Forest, plus only a few minutes' drive to commercial areas for shopping. The host really thought of everything (even providing some padded hangers!). Our only regret: not staying longer. Thanks for a great experience.

Very nice place for rest and relaxation. Renee was very responsive to our messages. I recommend this place if you want to rest. The washer and dryer is a plus!

We stopped for one night as we passed by on a road trip and we are so glad we did! Everything about this place is perfect, the property is beautiful and the view from the apartment is stunning! The best part of the whole stay was Richard’s hospitality, he was so kind and welcoming to us and made sure that we had everything that we needed to relax after hours on the road! If only we could’ve stayed longer!

The pictures don't do this place justice, the beach is so beautiful and the sunset views are amazing! The condo was clean, the bed comfortable, and has such a beautiful view. The north shore is more wet and rainy so we lost some days to weather, but our last day was perfect! We watched all the skydivers land on the beach all day which was neat. Take note that there is no microwave, no dishwasher, and a shared community washer and dryer which already had clothes in it every time we tried to use it. We are not super high maintenance so we made due, but in case you need those things just be aware. Overall we had a lovely stay, and would 100% stay again!

We had such a restful stay at Don's Casita! Very welcoming with all the snacks! Very close to wonderful restaurants. It was all perfect!

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

This was a nice place to stay during our onwards journey to grand canyon. we spent a full night and few hours in the morning. The stay was comfortable and the pool was an added bonus.

Beautiful property, peaceful, quiet, and serene. Lots of birds, honey bees in the flowers just outside the window, and hummingbirds. Almost like being in Hawaii if you didn't know it was Washington! Felt right at home, with the special touches like fresh ground coffee, half&half, homemade cookies, and clear instructions/communication about the property. Warm and welcoming couple Terry and Kerry were great hosts! Definitely plan to return should I need a place to stay in Bellingham again.

This unit within Hamilton Cove has been our best vacation yet. The views from the balcony were stunning. The entire unit felt clean and was very spacious for me and my now wife. The golf kart was a plus - it was a short 5-8 minute ride into downtown. Hosts were responsive. Definitely will be coming back to stay here again!!

Our stay at Leah's place was wonderful. The balcony overlooking the beach and ocean was the highlight. Being so close to all the restaurants in Nye Beach is also a huge benefit. This Airbnb was by far the most well-stocked unit I have ever stayed in. If you accidentally forget anything, you can bet that Leah has thought of it and you can find it there. Thank yiou so much for a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

This place was absolutely AMAZING! We came here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, cozy, and chill. It’s a great location close to the beach and decently close to town provided you have means to transportation. Sharon communicated accurately, sent all of the info we needed ahead of time, and was quick to respond when we needed her. Couldn’t recommend this place more! We’d love to try to come back someday.

Melissa's place in Kapalua delivered exactly what was promised. The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful area of Maui, and the property matched the listing description completely. Melissa was excellent to work with - she responded quickly to messages and kept communication clear throughout our stay. Kapalua is an incredible spot on the island, and this rental gave us the ideal base to enjoy everything the area offers. We'd definitely book with Melissa again.

My husband and I stayed here for part 2 of our honeymoon trip. It was everything we could’ve asked for and more! Such a beautiful space and wonderful location!

Our stay was amazing!! Christina had snacks placed out for us which we loved, the heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, temperature in the room was great, we really enjoyed the hot tub on sight and the restaurant within walking distance. We went for a walk on the nicely maintained walking trail beside the ocean, and then sat by the propane fireplace and watched the sun set. Lots of available covered parking, wish we stayed longer to try out the pool and other amenities. We loved our stay and would give 6 stars if possible, would stay again

Penny’s unit is pretty for a family of four (with kids). We felt like walking into the ocean the moment we opened the door. A welcome gift makes us special to her. We have everything we need inside the unit. Walk straight down to the beach. You don’t have to try to look for another beach. You need a car to get around but things are normally within an hour drive. Penny is always responsive and friendly. Will definitely consider Penny’s place when we visit next time .
