Really enjoyed this snug and cozy yurt. Wonderful quiet staycation for a birthday getaway. Loved the heated outdoor shower in the trees, and the colorful lighting and tapestries inside. The bed was snuggly and warm and it was so relaxing to listen to the rain outside. The Observatory restaurant & Bella's Italian Bakery we're delicious book ends for our stay

We had an amazing time at Yurt #2. Even with the RV park on site and neighbors in yurt #1 it felt private and secluded. The soaking tub was clean and the temperature was easy to control. The grill was a great addition. I recommend bringing your own cooler for perishables but the mini fridge worked fine for beverages. It was very peaceful and if you’re looking for a relaxing get away this place is a must!

Fantastic location just outside of Santa Barbara but proximal to the Santa Ynez Valley. Jennifer is a great hostess and her recommendations for food and adventures are fantastic. Would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away.

Absolutely a beautiful Yurt with beautiful views & even more beautiful souls the straw house team went way beyond & felt more like family then a staff. everything about a vacation away from redding was perfect , food . thank you so much for bringing down blankets & chairs & a table for us by the river to lay & read & relax. the cafe'is heaven & can't wait to come back for more. in love with All of it. 🤗 very blessed to gave found this place. I’ve stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been consistently excellent. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the ocean, with the calming sound of waves in the background. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The hosts are exceptionally kind and responsive, always making the experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re considering a stay, I highly recommend it—this place is a truly unique , and I’ll continue returning.

This was a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed every moment at the Yurt! Beautiful views all around! The place has everything you need! Linda was very responsive and proactive about solving any issues we may have had. It’s a cozy Glamping spot! A must book if available!

Yurtlandia is awesome! Had a fun stay here. The yurt is very well stocked and the grounds are lush and beautiful. Michael was a wonderful host, very communicative and accommodating. Neighborhood is very safe and there is parking in the driveway. The only thing to consider if you are going to work while there is the wifi is weak and dropped out a lot. This stay was a great way to experience Portland.

Fantastic stay. The yurt is even more charming than the photos. They have thought of every little thing you might need without any clutter. The beds (futons) are very comfortable, and the yurt itself is spotless. The shower with stones and pebbles was very clever, an outdoor shower that isn’t actually outside - lovely! There is a very sweet little winery just next door, I’d very much recommend a visit. It was a great stopover traveling from Seattle to Bend, but I’d like to stay longer next time and explore all the hidden wineries nearby! Delightful.

Lovely stay in a gorgeous place, this is a place that feels sacred. A place you respect and honor. A place to find yourself. Its obvious that this host views his land as a labor of love, it shows in so many ways. Peter was awesome. we really didn't need anything, but questions were answered quickly. I found it to be more like an integrated experience with a beautiful yurt, stunning beauty of the mountains and Redwoods..not just a place to lay your head at night. Hummingbirds visted often, frgrant flowers hreet you at every turn. Both the restaurans we visited were great for breakfast, dinner we grilled on the yurt patio. There is a flat top, gas BBQ, and outdoor gas heater. All the tools needed were available. however there so many restaurants close by, along hwy 1 or head into Santa Cruz. if you have a rambunctious dog, I wouldn't, unless you can be on point about watching. We only had 4 days. 2 weeks would of been perfect. still, very grateful for the time we had.

This was our second trip to this Yurt and every time we go it is. Wonderful experience. The space is beautiful and peaceful! We will be going back again in the future!

I had a much needed peaceful solo retreat to the big island and this place was exactly how I expected it to be! The birds were so happy and the frogs were very chatty at night. The amenities made my stay even better as I did a lot of hiking and was able to do laundry and take a hot shower and cozy up in bed after a long day. The kitchen had all of the basic utensils and dishes so I was easily able to make meals. The gas stove was great for heating up water for tea in the mornings to enjoy while sitting on the front porch. I unfortunately had to do some work during my stay but the internet speed was great and I was able to have video call without issues. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family! I cannot wait for the opportunity to bring my family here one day as I would certainly stay here again!

The yurt was easy to find and the setting is simply beautiful. We very much enjoyed the ability for our dog to be outside with us as the property is fully fenced. He could explore off-leash as we soaked up the peaceful setting - having coffee on the deck, making s’mores in the fire pit and throwing around the frisbee with our kid. The bed was comfortable, the sleeper sofa less so but my husband was okay with it. The kitchen is a bit sparse - there was no pot to boil water, but we managed to boil our pasta in the electric pan that was provided. There were fresh eggs and butter in the fridge which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, cups and glasses. Everything was clean and in working order. Tyler was quick to respond to any questions and concerns that we had and his mother, Bonnie, was on-site for a few hours of the day for hands-on help. Overall a pleasant stay and we would happily come back.

Within moments of arriving we regretted only booking for one night, we immediately wanted to extend our stay. Unfortunately for us, but understandably due to its perfection, they had more guests arriving the next day. The hosts mention ample amenities in the listing, but they provide even more! We packed games, paper towels, trash bags, coffee/wine mugs, etc. However, that is ALL provided! Plus, to our surprise, they had games, corn hole and frisbee golf there for our entertainment. Despite being corn hole junkies, we left the Yurt without ever touching a game. We were simply too occupied with enjoying the surrounding nature and beauty the entire time we stayed. So quiet, private, and peaceful. Temperature in the yurt stays perfect! We slept like babies all night long on the river pads. A simply perfect get away from the hustle and bustle to relax and unwind. We are already discussing dates for when to book this yurt again! Simply the most perfect off-the-grid experience!

We absolutely loved our stay! The yurt was perfectly cozy, beautiful, and clean. Perhaps the most coziest Airbnb bed I've slept in - the comforter and pillows were clouds. It had everything we needed, and the land was so peaceful and lovely. Mary was so helpful and responsive for anything we needed! We loved taking a stroll up the road to see the neighbor horses, and while the yurt was private and remote, it's easy to get around for anything you need. I would absolutely stay again!

Such a cute place to stay. We mostly used it to sleep but after a long day of exploring Olympic National Park it was such a peaceful space to go back and relax at. Loved the deck on the back with the bird feeders. Personally I love hearing all the nature noises but if you are sensitive to loud nature noises such a birds, wind, or rain it may be a bit much for you so maybe plan a summer trip. Overall a really cozy and comfortable spot tucked away.

Was able to get here in a FWD car. was very nice, heater worked great, amazing views and the hot springs were right down the road. they even had board games for us to play set aside.

Comfortable and unique. Tucked away yet close enough to walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants, with a stunning view of mountains. Johnny’s communication was thorough and helpful. Judging by their work and the brief convo we had with Johnny in the driveway, he and Sharon are talented and fascinating folks. We spent only one night in the Homer Roundhouse on our breakneck trip of Alaska but found that it had everything we could have wanted. House rules were all very reasonable and easy to follow, and it was quite a comfortable night. Beautiful blue flower between the driveway and the roundhouse! A little treasure just like this place.
