Ideal for exploring Dartmoor on foot, by car or by bike. A bridle path runs through the yard should you want to walk to Hexworthy, Princetown, Postbridge or beyond. In addition our gates give you direct access to the open moor and the Mariners' way footpath runs through the farm.

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign

Dunstone Cottage

No mobile signal but limited broadband, and WiFi calling. Well behaved dogs welcome for a fee payable before arrival.
