Holiday rentals with a hot tub in West Devon District

Trystan was an incredibly kind and helpful host, really accommodating and went out of his way to make sure all of the kiddies were happy and comfortable. If you’re looking for child friendly accommodation this is it, there is every kind of toy and car available for the kids to play with, very easy and a fun house to stay in. Beautiful gardens and a great location.

Loved staying at Midge this week, perfect host, surroundings and amenities. Nothing was too much trouble, Nathan - you’ve done a great job at Stairway to Devon. Good luck for the future

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Extremely warm welcome from the lovely hosts to their beautiful and immaculately kept home with loving attention to every detail. Though we went over New Year with miserable/stormy weather the Boathouse was cosy and the sheltered wood burning hot tub was a must, perfect in all weathers. Drinking coffee early morning by the river’s edge was serene. Would highly recommend for a getaway.

Your quick responses made everything so easy, and the beautiful birthday basket you left for me was such a kind and unexpected gesture that really made my day. Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge - it was the perfect base for us to explore the beautiful surroundings for a few days, and get ready with our friends for a wedding nearby. The lodge feels private and peaceful and has been decorated really nicely. Great supplies throughout the lodge and helpful local advice on things to do. We would highly recommend!

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexander's house! The property was very clean, spacious and provided a comfortable environment for our family gathering. Each room was unique and generously sized, and having en-suite bathrooms in every room was a big plus. The hot tub was a great addition and made our evenings extra relaxing. Our only small suggestions would be that the football area outside is on a slope, which makes it a bit tricky to play on, and the barbecue could use a bit of maintenance/cleaning to be easier to use. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place for group stays!

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

We loved it. Plent of sitting space in the basement. Beautiful kit hen with plenty of gadgets. Bedrooms comfortable with added bonus of bath robes in double bedrooms. Ground floor pool table was popular with grandchildren.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. Great host, very helpful and responsive with any queries. Accommodation appeared just as described with lovely surroundings. Highly recommended for a quiet time away with useful links from host for local amenities.

Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

I dont think the photos do it justice with how nice this place was! There were so many finishing touches that made it feel like a spa retreat more than just a place to stay. The instructions on getting there were spot on and the host was so friendly and welcoming. We could have happily stayed for a month, shame we only had a weekend free 😊

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of amazing. The space was cozy, clean, and had a lot of attractions—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The Hideaway is absolutely gorgeous. So simple, yet effective. Everything was catered for, the bed linen was clean, the bathroom was clean and Rachel had contacted us the day before with clear directions to the place and lock box. We came for a romantic break for a special birthday and it exceeded all expectations!

Simply stunning couple of nights away. The location is beautifully quiet in the woods. The only note is that it is next door to a holiday home so there can be some noise in the evenings which we experienced, but it didn’t matter one bit to us. Cosy living space and a nice comfy bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The Chicken House is the best air b n b we have stayed in and we will absolutely be back to use the hot tub as we are gutted we didn’t get the chance to use it this time as we were too busy :) Thank you again for a lovely stay!

this stay was absolutely worth it, it was so peaceful and private, which is just what me and my partner were after. as soon as we arrived, all we could hear was nature and animals which added to the peacefulness. the place was very clean and tidy, with fabulous decor. few added touches by the host that made it feel like a home from home. we will 100% return in the near future, very sad to have left.
