Trystan was an incredibly kind and helpful host, really accommodating and went out of his way to make sure all of the kiddies were happy and comfortable. If you’re looking for child friendly accommodation this is it, there is every kind of toy and car available for the kids to play with, very easy and a fun house to stay in. Beautiful gardens and a great location.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Little Barn! The surroundings are beyond beautiful and the location is very peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed lots of time soaking up the countryside in the lovely outdoor area (lots of visits from the little cats saying hello too!). The inside was small but extremely well thought out so never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for the two of us. It was well located for everything we needed from trips to the coast, exploring the national park and visiting the quaint little towns and villages nearby. Overall we had a brilliant stay, thank you Fran, the Little Barn is an absolute gem!

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

We booked this for a special birthday for 3 generations of the family The house was beyond our expectations! So well equipped and very clean The views were absolutely amazing Our 3 grandsons loved it and especially the visit to feed the animals and were very excited to collect the eggs Samantha was a fabulous host and we would fully recommend her house and we would love to return again

Fantastic family weekend away to celebrate my Dads 70th. Such a beautiful special house with everything you need! The hot tub and games room was well used and lots of fun was had. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the house and the grounds were everything we wanted and more. The house was stunning and we had a fabulous weekend, we would highly recommend. Thanks Lynne.

This Airbnb was fantastic! Clean, homely, a stunning view. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here, and the log-fire hot tub was an amazing touch. Furthermore, Andy could not have been any more hospitable and friendly, an excellent host. I highly recommend for any holidaymakers or people looking for a local getaway 😊.

Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge - it was the perfect base for us to explore the beautiful surroundings for a few days, and get ready with our friends for a wedding nearby. The lodge feels private and peaceful and has been decorated really nicely. Great supplies throughout the lodge and helpful local advice on things to do. We would highly recommend!

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexander's house! The property was very clean, spacious and provided a comfortable environment for our family gathering. Each room was unique and generously sized, and having en-suite bathrooms in every room was a big plus. The hot tub was a great addition and made our evenings extra relaxing. Our only small suggestions would be that the football area outside is on a slope, which makes it a bit tricky to play on, and the barbecue could use a bit of maintenance/cleaning to be easier to use. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place for group stays!

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

we had a fantastic stay here, the signal box was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you need and more! Nice touches of shampoos and shower gels incase we'd forgotten, a bottle of fizz and a jug of milk in the fridge also! We found the property to be clean and welcoming and hot tub was excellent and clean. we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous pet sheep that came to see us everyday 😍 The view from the property is amazing and the sunrise was to die for! we had dinner at The springer Spaniel one evening, lovely food and great cocktails!! we would easily recommend this gorgeous place and jacqui is a lovely welcoming helpful host! we hope to be back soon! one of the best and most peaceful places we have ever stayed! lovely location, beautiful garden, privacy and a great hotub! kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner and the lodge itself is beautiful. we had a great time and even with some heavy rain it was great. don't expect to be connected to the outside world as phone and Internet is almost non-existent, but that is what is so relaxing about this place! I dont think the photos do it justice with how nice this place was! There were so many finishing touches that made it feel like a spa retreat more than just a place to stay. The instructions on getting there were spot on and the host was so friendly and welcoming. We could have happily stayed for a month, shame we only had a weekend free 😊

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of amazing. The space was cozy, clean, and had a lot of attractions—perfect for a peaceful getaway. I booked this as a get away from it all break for my husband’s 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. Genuinely, there are not enough words to describe how perfect this place is- it’s like being wrapped in a warm hug! The setting is peaceful and private and the cabin is pure luxury- the most comfortable bed ever, gorgeous complimentary toiletries, lovely hot tub and a well stocked welcome hamper. Claire also left us a lovely birthday message, balloons and bubbly - those personal touches were so special. We didn’t leave the cabin for the whole weekend - well, just to have amazing massages (a must if you stay!) - as we just wanted to step out of the hustle and bustle of our busy lives for a short time. This is the perfect place to do that and we will definitely return as this is such a special place.

The Hideaway is absolutely gorgeous. So simple, yet effective. Everything was catered for, the bed linen was clean, the bathroom was clean and Rachel had contacted us the day before with clear directions to the place and lock box. We came for a romantic break for a special birthday and it exceeded all expectations!
