This is really lovely place to stay, very well equipped with all essentials and Matt left some supplies that were really thoughtful. This property is situated in a very quiet location. The train station is a 10 minute walk with trains running regularly to Norwich (only 10 minute journey), lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, with some lovely places to visit in between. I would highly recommend visiting the RSPB at Strumpshaw just a couple of miles away.

We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

My mum had a great stay at Erna’s accommodation. It was a home from home! It was spotless, cosy and comfortable. Check in and check out was smooth. Erna was very responsive with communicating, both the instructions for check in and providing photos. She left a beautiful breakfast ready for the morning. Thank you!

A second wonderful stay at Little Lodge for my parents, allowing them to pootle around the lanes of Suffolk without needing to return home to neighbouring Norfolk! Especially enjoyed visiting Snape, Aldeburgh and having a pub meal at Rumburgh. Despite the inclement weather at times, the cottage was a lovely, cosy space for them to catch up with reading magazines and snoozing!! They also enjoyed watching the running ducks and bantams in the garden and chatting with Wendy and her dogs. Thank you Wendy for making their few days in Suffolk so special. Little Lodge is a hidden gem of tranquility!

Peaceful, stunning, well appointed and a home from home. Just some of the words to describe this beautiful place to stay. Responsive, friendly and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home without being intrusive. The homemade marmalade and cookies and bread were gorgeous and demonstrated the level of detail and commitment to guest experience. We loved our stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough. A lovely stay in the pavilion for a long weekend. The space is perfect for chilling and also good location for visiting nearby places like Colchester. Breakfast bits provided and swimming pool is lovely treat. Thank you Liz

Emma was a lovely host and very welcoming, especially the welcome tray with everything we needed on it. Place was lovely, cosy and clean. Well equipped with everything needed. The bed was also super comfy! Definitely recommend to others looking to stay round the area

A beautiful slice of the countryside. Very private as you have a separate entrance and area, but it was also lovely to meet Em and L who are very proactive with messaging and making sure we were happy and comfortable. There's a pub directly across the road, as well as a cafe, but the place has absolutely everything you could want on site, if you prefer staying there. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay at Figgy Barn. 100% recommend, as we hope to come back ourselves.

Lovely people, great place, everything you need

Great place to stay !! Had everything we needed, and location was great. Feels like you’re far away from the hussle and bussle of a city but only 10 mins away from Ely. Perfect !!

We enjoyed a very relaxing short stay in the accommodation, which was well appointed and located in a really peaceful and quiet area. The location was close to family and areas of local interest, so was extremely convenient. Thank you for your help, Janie.

Dallas was a perfect host. My room was clean and fresh and the little touches like cereal and treats was lovely. I have no problem recommending people to stay here.

A great place to stay. Easy to find, just off the A14/M11 and easy access into Cambridge. So may extras including bread and milk, spreads ad the place was spotless. Add that to a booklet full of simple clear instructions as to how everything works ad what procedures to follow ad you find you are in an ideal location. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed with Iain for 1 night, both hosts lovely. Great recommendation for a local pub with homemade food. (The pizza is a must!). Iain introduced himself in person and very polite and welcoming. Would stay again if the chance presents itself. Very clean and tidy BnB.

Lucy was very friendly and I appreciated her responsiveness. The airbnb was very clean and she left eggs and bread which was such a nice surprise. Stayed for 13 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you Lucy!

Teresa was a fab host and couldn’t have been more accommodating! I’ve currently got ongoing works at my house and her accommodation was a god send to have access to. The check in and location were great and the annexe was just what I required for my needs. Would highly recommend Teresa’s accommodation and hope to stay there again soon :)

We had a lovely stay at Ian's. The village was lovely and peaceful, and the Airbnb was clean, cosy and exactly as described. Ian was easy to contact and there was good communication. Extra touches, such as a hairdryer and cold water in the fridge made it special and were so handy! Ian was helpful and gave us taxi recommendations, which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely property on two levels. Very well presented with some nice features. Good facilities and a nice selection of fresh fruit, snacks and drinks on arrival. Excellent access to Norwich and ideally situated for our weekend at the races at Snetterton. Would be happy to visit again.

honestly, this is one of our favourite air bnbs. everything and I mean everything has been thought of and is provided for your stay. it's super clean and tidy, comfy- perfect. 5 stars everytime. we will stay again 😁
