We had a lovely stay. House was as described, clean and had all the things we needed. Would recommend to friends and family.

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

Great place & host! Looked like the pictures & was near a lake. Nice forest walks close by to. Was a short drive to the beach, overall a nice play to stay!

I booked Swallows Roost for the night before my wedding and the evening of. The accommodation was amazing. It was perfect for me, my bridal party and suppliers to get ready and feel relaxed and at home. Lucy and her family were so accommodating. Everything was stress free and easy. The downloadable guide was amazing, everything was covered, even the things I hadn’t considered including where the local EV chargers were. We can’t wait to book to stay again to spend our wedding anniversary next year! We would recommend Swallows Roost to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay in sunny Suffolk.

We booked The Threshing Barn and it did not disappoint! We loved the rural setting, relaxing in the spa and just chilling out at the house! We made use of the bbq on the first night too! A very peaceful and enjoyable stay! Not to mention there’s a field to walk the dog around in the mornings and before bed :)

Had a relaxing couple of nights at the cottage. The cottage is beautiful and the hot tub is a real bonus. Location was great, felt so peaceful and friendly. Would love to return. John kept me well posted with information before and during our arrival which was so helpful. Had everything we needed that we didn’t even need to bother John.

The cottage is spotless and George was very quick at replying and also very lovely. Will definatly be back

An absolute gem, only minutes from Cambridge & the IWM Duxford. We used one if the nearby ParknRides to go into Central Cambridge, great idea, easy use. David was a great host, discrete, helpful & responsive. Clock Cottage was comfy & well stocked. Thank you, we had a lovely stay.

We had a great couple of nights here. The cottage is perfect for a cosy stay, made even better with the addition of the log burner. The cottage is spacious, clean and has everything you need. The welcome package was a nice touch, we had a lovely breakfast the following morning. It was nice to be able to walk around the grounds too, where we saw some wildlife. Tony was a great, friendly host - answered any questions we had and also gave us recommendations for things to do locally and a bit further afield.

Had a lovely stay at the weekend. was very clean and beautiful grounds. although in photos the sauna looks like its attached to the house, it isn't so that was a little disappointing, also the listing stated it was isolated, but you have a few neighbours next door and around. But we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice break. the playground was a good touch too, my daughter played on it constantly. host was lovely and helpful too.

Peaceful stay at this lovely very large house. Kids were well catered for with the games room and big garden with swings. Everything with spotless and Catherine was so helpful. We loved it

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Poet’s Corner. The house is quaint and comfortably furnished. Kenninghall is a beautiful village and the locals very friendly. There is a good coffee shop, a well stocked village store and a welcoming pub. We would be very happy to stay in the cottage again.

Very beautiful place very different quirky place to stay. Wounderful walking paths we walked our dog for a few hours seeing the nature as we went by Lots to see and do visited Jimmys farm lovey place to go with kids.

Polly was an amazing host. Very welcoming and considerate. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning. Which would not normally be an issue in this part of England except for our stay there was a heatwave. Polly did provide a fan on request. On the upside the pool was incredibly uncomfortable and useful. The property is exceptional and we look forward to staying again.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The house was amazing, it had a wonderful feel to it and we were able to switch off from the regular day to day. The fans were much appreciated with the hottest day of the year. Comfortable beds and great amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the pub grub and garden just around the corner. Great stay thank you from us all 😊

What a delight! We had a lovely time staying with and getting to know Robin and Jenny. The carriage house was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked a few times. We happened to be there during one of the rare hot weather spells in England, but opened up all the windows and got good breezes through the bedrooms upstairs. Everyone appreciated having their own bathroom (each bedroom has its own plus there’s one extra downstairs). Robin and Jenny were welcoming and gracious - we had a great time chatting a few times during our stay. It felt like being welcomed home. Highly recommend!

This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at! The Finches cottage and the surrounding area is incredible beautiful. The cottage itself was very comfortable and I especially appreciated the little touches such as snacks and the milk in the fridge. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I am in the area.

If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would! We booked Nicky’s place very last minute, on the morning of the night we’d be staying! Nicky was so attentive and thoughtful. Before we arrived she had made up a travel cot for our baby with toys and bedding. She had provided some treats for our bigger kids along with bread/eggs/milk/juice/wine. There was even brand new rackets and balls for the kids to play with too. The cottage is so picturesque, a pink fairy tale cottage, surrounded by beautiful fields of horses. There is a lovely homely feel to the cottage, it’s clean and modern but with sweet family touches. There was a big box of toys for my youngest and a cupboard of games which we all enjoyed together. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean, spacious and luxurious! The garden is so well kept and quiet. It was genuinely one of the best places we’ve stayed!! We are already looking to book again!

A great stay here. The views are amazing and was so lovely sitting and watching the tide roll in and out. The property is gorgeous, spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need. As previous guests have mentioned, the steps to the bedroom are rather steep but definitely worth the climb as the view from main bedroom is lovely and bed very comfortable. We definitely recommend this property and would love to return.

We love The Orchard cottage, this was our second stay. The hosts are so friendly and helpful, it’s an absolute pleasure to stay here. We love everything about it, it was particularly beautiful this time with lovely weather. We enjoyed relaxing in The Orchard, cooling off at the pool and wandering around the gardens and estate.

I would highly recommend Alex's Lodge. Immaculate throughout, all amenities catered for, comfy beds and settees and showers amazing. We felt right at home, lovely garden to sit in and perfect location. Thanks Alex we will return very soon 😊

Beautiful setting of a peaceful cottage in the English countryside. Spectacular garden full of wonderful flowers. Excellent hosts which are friendly and helpful. A lovely experience. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved it, great place to stay, easy to get to all the major places you need to get to. Jo was spot on with her directions and so friendly, and as for the dog, loved her...so friendly. The cottage was as described and so peaceful, and in this hot weather, so cool. Small community shop and postoffice around 3 miles away, be aware a lot of the pubs and eating places are closed Monday but the Dog at Norton is open and was fantastic. Places to go, the coast, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, Southwold and Bury St Edmunds are superb, must do places to visit... we did all of them and a few more i would rather not recommend, only a personel view. Get to Jo's place .. you wont regret it
