Incredible place to stay with great amenities

What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

We booked our stay while having work done at our home and it ended up being the perfect retreat. We worked remotely for a few days — I used the upstairs bedroom and desk as my office while my husband worked downstairs, which worked out great. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked (pro tip: take inventory before heading to the grocery store!). The decor is beautiful and all the plants made the place so bright! Mornings on the porch with coffee and mountain views were a peaceful way to start the day. We also loved exploring the charming town of Black Mountain. We hope to have the chance to return! Luke and Olessia were awesome hosts and very responsive to our questions.

We had the best weekend at the cottage. Easy, quick drive to downtown highlands. Some highlights - The pizza oven was great for making pizzas, grill was fantastic for grilling steaks, fire pit for s’mores and the Hot tub was used several times. The kids loved the bunk room. The house was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. We hope to be back soon!

The house was wonderful, just as described. Clean, beautiful, and functional. Having the pool inside was great especially when the weather is questionable. Was worth the little extra compared to less expensive homes near by with only a hot tub. The pool is a bit smaller than what it looks like in pictures, but plenty big enough for all who stay in the house. We will book this house again in future travels to this area! This place was perfect! We felt so comfortable and relaxed. It smelled good, looked good and was really clean! The hot tub was easy to use and we took advantage each night the weather allowed. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely stay again! Graham was very responsive and helpful. We had not a single thing we didn’t like or wished was different. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Oh yes, easy storage to unpack and “live” here for a week!

We had a great week at Pie in the Sky. The views are spectacular and the home is welcoming. Although there are other homes nearby, the neighborhood feels so peaceful. We enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings on the deck. Options for daytime activities are plentiful in the surrounding area. (Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, Linville, Asheville) Corinne was very responsive with any questions that we had. Any issues that we had were quickly resolved. The home was well appointed with everything we needed to settle in and make the week easy. We picked up groceries at Lowes - a short drive west. The hot tub was so nice after a long day of hiking. My kids loved the separate lounge area and the cabinet of games. We would love to stay here again.

Don was so helpful and kind. He and Renie truly go more than above and beyond! The apartment was lovely with an incredible view. It was extremely clean and well stocked. It felt private and peaceful the entire time. The hot tub was very relaxing, and loved the spacious shower as well. The beds were so comfortable. We appreciated our parting gift and assistance with our luggage. We cannot wait until next time!

A most beautiful view and such spacious lodging. I would sleep with the window open and fall asleep to the sound of the river. I was amazed to find out how much history was behind this property. Monisha has a book detailing history and places to go. We did go to the mineral bath which was a restorative experience. I appreciate Monisha advising us to book in advance. I highly recommend this property. A home away from home. 😊 Any questions I had Monisha promptly answered.

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

Leslie’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the stunning mountain views, complete with chairs on the porch where we could sit, relax, and take it all in. Watching the sunset while using the grill to make our BBQ was an unforgettable experience! Leslie was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal—just 25 minutes away from Ride Kanuga and Rock Creek MTB trails, and only 10 minutes from Publix for quick shopping. To top it off, there’s a fantastic coffee shop just 5 minutes away that serves the best croissants I’ve ever tried! The peacefulness of the property added to the charm—it’s a quiet and serene place to unwind. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring we got restful sleep during our entire stay. I highly recommend Leslie’s place if you’re looking for a cozy getaway with great amenities. Thanks Leslie?

My husband and I were in town for a concert so we wanted a place that was convenient and walkable to the venue. Enya’s home was perfect. Safe, walkable to many places and clean! She made our stay very comfortable and stress free. Don’t hesitate to book if you need a nice place to stay in Charlotte! Lots of nice touches in the home. It really has everything you could need and more.

Such a nice little spot to stay! I loved the little extras, from the basket of snacks and the espresso, to the robes and slippers provided, the hosts go above to make sure you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be very close to downtown but want a quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. You can’t beat the location and the affordability! Beautiful place. Hosts are nearby but you have all the privacy you could want. Beds very comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking. Location is great for Pisgah forest and Dupont. Close to Bervard and also Hendersonville. We will definitely stay again.

We highly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the covered screened in porch, as it rained for much of our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Damien is helpful and friendly and responded quickly. Overall this is one of the nicer Air Bnb's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back and stay at one of his properties in the future.

Our group loved this house! So many unique spaces to enjoy — but especially the patio off the livingroom overlooking the mountain, where we had coffee in the morning sun, or dinner in the evening shade. Would definitely recommend!

The Vineyard Villa is absolutely perfect for a 2-couples or 4 girlfriends getaway. Perfectly appointed villa, beautifully decorated, comfortable bedding and furniture, full kitchen with everything you need to make a meal, and 2 lovely full bathrooms. Beautiful outdoor seating area for enjoying the view of the vineyards. Secluded and oh so quiet! You have full privacy, but the owners are close by if you should ever need anything. Bring casual food, books and games, and buy wine at the vineyard and your perfect getaway awaits!! We will be back!!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

This place exceeded all the high expectations we had going in. The view cannot be done justice with the photos. We have stayed in a bunch of places in the NC mountains and this was by far the most beautiful view we have ever seen. We also didn’t realize just how great it would be to have access to the lake club facilities just by staying in the reserve. Aurelia was super responsive, friendly and helpful. If it’s available, we hope we can stay again next year!

I can't really say enough but here's a brief synopsis. Beautiful, very private, cozy, clean, responsive, helpful host, plenty of extra thoughtful touches, fantastic views from every part of house. Firewood and even some good food is provided. Everything you could need or want and even things you wouldn't think of. You will not be disappointed.

My family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at Craig's Encore at the end of Lake Nantahala. We have stayed in many places, and this home was truly exceptional with every detail considered. We enjoyed watching Lake Nantahala change throughout the day, paddled in the kayaks, swam, soaked in the hot tub, relaxed and had fun outings renting a boat one day and tubing down the Nantahala River the next. It was truly memorable, and the only drawback was the long drive in over gravel, but that's what makes it so peaceful and remote. The lake was never busy and such a big change from so many crowded and touristed spots. We hope we made a good impression and will be welcomed back. This is truly a loved and cherished family home, and we appreciate Craig sharing it with us.
