Lakeside Cabin - Hot Tub, Firepit, Kayak, Arcade

LaurenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Julie’s home with a group of friends and our families and had a wonderful time. The lakefront setting was incredibly relaxing—we found ourselves rarely leaving the property because it had everything we needed. From soaking in the hot tub to enjoying the game room, there was something for everyone. The kids loved having space to run around in the basement, while the adults enjoyed peaceful mornings and evenings on the screened-in porch. Julie was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly, which made the entire experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Black Log Cabin in Fredericksburg. We celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday and created unforgettable memories. Waterfront Cabin: beach, kayaks, hot tub & firepit

JillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great place! We really enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities. The kayaks, paddle boards, fishing, hot tub, hammocks were all great. Have two teens who very much enjoyed. Was relaxing but a lot to do there also. Lots of jellyfish so we did not swim at all. Definitely a lot of fish and crabs that can be caught right at the dock. If more serious and knowledgeable about fishing then us, may want to bring extra hooks and tackle box. Definitely some size-able fish. Bait shop in town has a lot of supplies but very limited hours. The house had tons of towels, washcloths, etc. which was nice. Kitchen had oil, spices, plenty of cooking utensils, pots / pans, dinnerware etc. Blackstone was nice. Made it very easy to cook. Very few restaurants open M-F. Of those that were, most closed by about 3. Newsome’s was a great local place for lunch. Crab cakes were outstanding. Definitely would stay again. Had a great time!

Beachfront Escape with Horizon Views of the Bay

BillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great property & host. We booked our reservation because of the appeal of the backyard/property, but the home was just as nice. One of the cleanest properties we’ve ever been to. Clear and easy communication with the host - easy to check in and out. We hope to come back next year!

"Elderberries" Chesapeake Bayfront Cottage

JoelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area, nice comfortable space. The gravel road leading in (maybe a half-mile long) and driveway gave us a good area for morning and evening dog walks. We did not end up doing any fishing but the pond looked like a great place for kayak fishing. Not specific to the house but in the area: Rita's Cafe in Weems was great (food truck on a small road)--Chef Craige usually has a special and some regular menu items. Leadbellys (at Fairport Marina) had good oysters and hush puppies and was convenient for our first night. River Market in White Stone has good food to be ordered at the rear counter and prepared items in the coolers. Out of the Oven Bakery (White Stone) had great bread Miss Mary's seafood, also in White Stone had great fresh fish and prepared items. The three places in White Stone are very close to each other so convenient when running out.

Rustic Quaint Cabin In the woods--Pets welcomed

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a wonderful stay in Kevin's cabin. On a hot day the three window units wouldn't cool off well. There was one day where it was in the 80s and it was pretty warm inside with all of the fans running. I am thankful that most of the time we stayed here the temperature was in the lower 70s and cooler at night. This is a cabin and we knew that. This is what we expected and it actually exceeded my expectations of a cabin. it was larger, the bed was comfortable, our sheets were clean, the water was hot, the water pressure was good, bathroom was clean and inside the cabin 😃, stove top worked great to cook, and we had plenty of room. Plenty of outlets. The woods were nice and offered good shade. Location is right off the road, but felt private.

Waterfront Lancaster Cabin ~ 10 Mi to Kilmarnock!

MarthaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

The cabin was perfect for our little family, super comfortable and cute little space, with beautiful surroundings. Check in was a breeze and they even had the heat turned on before our arrival (it was a really cold day) and the porch lights were left on for us, we felt very welcomed. We would definitely book this place again next time we visit st marys county. Thank you Daniel!

Beachfront Lodge - Potomac River - 09

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great time Michael’s place. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The view of the water was wonderful, and it was peaceful hearing the waves at night. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of cooking tools. The campgrounds were quiet while we were there and we felt like we had plenty of privacy.

Scientists Cliffs Beach Queen Bedroom 1 hr from DC

AlejoRating, 5 stars66 months ago
Terry’s place was just what I was looking for. This quiet neighborhood is located on the beautiful cliffs along the Chesapeake. The beach was truly magical. It was so peaceful and I enjoyed walking along and collecting fossils and shells. Terry was such a friendly and gracious host making sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. She let us use her space and guided us to many activities and attractions nearby. We really enjoyed hiking the nearby wooded trails as well. She even took us sailing! We look forward to visiting Terry’s place again!

Camp Heron : Waterfront Cabin on the Potomac

CrystalRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This Airbnb truly felt like staying in someone's home. There were lots of items provided in the house -- from toys in the cabinets, to records to listen to and the kitchen was very well stocked with pans, plates and seasonings. Outside we loved using the crab pots (though we came up empty and didnt catch any crabs) and lighting a fire at the fire pit at night.

Very peaceful place. Nice size accommodations for a solo trip, or a couple. I highly recommend walking out on a dock or the shore at night. Quite serene. (use bug spray at night though lol). Great place, and I plan to go back again.

Just Wright - Goldie’s perfect Cabin in the woods

AlexanderRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was one of my first trips at an air bnb and it was amazing. It was a bit dusty, but out in the woods like that it’s bound to be. The forest was beautiful, and the disconnect from my average day to day was made perfect by my experience here. From the local trails to the small pizza place nearby, this location was something special.

Private Historic Cozy Cabin

AnnaliseRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was an incredible stay — the property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! We were constantly in awe of the nature and how expansive the land is. We loved using the bikes to explore, the pool was absolutely amazing, and the sitting areas by the numerous ponds were perfect for relaxing and having a picnic. During our stay, we looked up more about the area and found that this is the historic Woodlawn Plantation, which has a history tied to slavery. That’s something we hadn’t realized beforehand, and we took time for moments of reflection out of respect for that history. It would have been meaningful to see that acknowledged on-site. Overall, this was a beautiful stay, and Gerri was so incredibly helpful and very easy to talk to ☺️.
