We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Roomy home with comfortable beds and was very clean, tidy and easy parking across the street. An easy drive up to Westport or down to the Quay. Walking to town would be a challenge for us older folks with the hills. Thanks!

My THIRD stay at the Little Mosaic and it now feels like coming "home"! I love returning to this beautiful part of the world and as usual I had the most wonderful welcome! Thanks a million Shane and Barbara and hopefully, see you again next year!

The host has been proactive with all the information that we needed. The place had ample parking space. The surroundings are lush green. It's great to wake up to the sound of nature. The place is a perfect weekend gateway, if you want to recuperate your tired soul within the nature.

Lovely area, private parking and a short hop away from a number of local activities and sights. The sheep on the property also added to the experience. All was as expected and any instructions were clear. Vera was quick to reply and easy to communicate with. Thank you very much!

Ciara is a really lovely friendly host, flexible and super helpful. The apartment is exactly as described, but with breathtaking scenery, the occasional peaceful sound of horses clip clopping past and the sea across the road - stunning! I will definitely be back 🥰

Would highly recommend Riverbank Annexe. We stayed in the Ardmore suite and I can’t fault it at all the place was tidy and spotless! The bed was so comfortable and the shower was amazing! It had everything and more you needed. Yvonne was so helpful with information about close restaurants and chinese food takeaways when I asked her. But there was a book with great information about trips and tips on the area left for us. Definitely worth every penny. Thanks again for having us x

Lovely place, plenty of space and close to the village. Tish was great with communication and even offered an extra night at no extra cost when had to arrive a day late, unfortunately we could not take advantage off. Highly recommended place and host.

Four of us enjoyed the condo for seven nights. Beautiful view, spotless accommodation, quality towels and bed linens, all we needed in the kitchen. Mary and Phil went out of their way to provide alternative bedding when the weather turned warmer than expected. Truly responsive hosts. We look forward to returning to Newport, a charming village in easy reach of a variety of towns and attractions. Don’t miss Westport and Achill Island. And the Grainne Uaille pub’s Thursday night trad music session is grand!

We have stayed in a lot of airbnb’s in various countries and Buttermilk Lodge has to be #1 in terms of providing everything you could ever need. The lodge sits on a beautiful, private piece of land minutes walk from all of the amenities, and is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything including milk, butter, coffee, teas, cereals and Cathriona’s very tasty homemade breads. Very clear instructions are provided for every appliance, and lots of local information on hiking trails and local attractions. We highly recommend a stay at Buttermilk Lodge!

Excellent, proactive communication comes to mind first! While the cottage was not the most stylish, it was one of the most functional places we have stayed and was our home away from home for three days. Close to hiking, beaches, and great food. Highly recommended.

We visited Ireland for the first time (4-person family) and deliberately chose a rural accommodation. The location was fantastic and we were particularly impressed by the nearby beaches. The view of the surrounding mountains was also beautiful. The house was spacious and offered everything we needed. It was a good starting point for our activities with the car. We had a nice time together as a family and thank Margaret and her husband very much for their hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in Foxford at Noelle's place. The river view is gorgeous. We had everything we needed to eat in but also great recommendations for local options - the cafe in the woolen mills has delicious options . Noelle's place was a great base to explore the area from and also to relax within. Comfortable beds, great shower and everything we needed. We hope to stay again in the future and highly recommend.

This Airbnb is in the downstairs of a picturesque old building in the heart of Clonbur. A bakery and grocery store are across the street. Although trucks do rattle by early in the morning, and the property overlooks a wood mill, the location in general terms is fabulous because of all the things to see and do nearby. The layout of the rental is surprising at first, but it’s actually very comfortable once you get used to having an entry area with the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom in separate rooms off the entry. A couple of tips: hold the front door handle up, to lock it, and pull the string in the bathroom to make the shower’s hot water heater turn on. The owner of this rental is a delight, the village is charming, and the countryside surrounding it is stunning. Hiking trails are in easy walking distance! I highly recommend this rental.

Catherine’s Hidden Gem was a wonderful refuge on our road trip around Ireland. So beautifully created, and thoughtfully presented, cosy and delightful. Every amenity provided for our comfort. Great coffee, well stocked fridge, comfy beds, angel lights to guide us home, maps and even a chocolate by the bedside table. Five star accommodation. Catherine was the most amazing host and helped us with her local knowledge, advice and cosmic personality. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Catherine, we will never forget you. We had really a great stay in the apartment! The apartment is very good and the location is really amazing! We loved the walk to the water and also the walk to Clifden (which is a very nice town)! The apartment and the garden were bigger than expected. And my husband, who is not a very easy sleeper, said that the bed and mattress were the best he'd ever slept in :-). Thank you Stephen!

We had a very good time at the apartment. We wish we were able to spend more than one night there. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was fabulous. We were 5 adults and there was plenty of space. We cooked most meals and the kitchen was very well equipped. The lounge was comfortable for 5 adults. We were able to park right outside. The location was just a short walk into the centre. Just a small issue was on the second night there was some noise outside between midnight and 3am and this disturbed our sleep. We think it was people leaving the hotel opposite. We would also have liked curtains as well as blinds on the bedroom windows as street lights leaked into the room. Overall a very good stay.

Good location, great view of ricer from balcony. Within walking distance of everything in town. Kare was very responsive and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the vicinity.

Only a short stay but a truly lovely experience. The unit was spacious, comfortable, quiet and beautifully presented. The generosity of the breakfast that was provided was amazing - and delicious! Highly recommend Jan and Sandy New Zealand

I would definitely recommend Linda’s apartment. We were there for two weeks. The apartment was lovely and very convenient to the Quay and the town. Linda was an exceptionally responsive host!
