The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The house is open plan downstairs consisting of a kitchen, sitting area and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is bedroom and a small bathroom. The space is very bright and airy. There is a back yard and garden to sit out in after a day trekking around. There is a good internet service within the house. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to self cater. It is really convenient to the main street, sea walk and public transport services.

Kaye's Cottage: In the heart of West Cork

Our beautiful place is located in a central, peaceful location 10 mins by car from the village of Drimoleague on the Drimoleague Walkway. The location is ideal for touring the Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara Peninsulas, and the Wild Atlantic Way from Kinsale to the Ring of Kerry. The Cottage is on a working dairy farm adjacent to our farm house. You will be made very welcome.

Our homely one bedroom apartment is perfect as a base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Just a short drive from Glengarriff village where you will find the famous Garnish Island, Glengarriff Nature Rreserve, Bamboo Park, restaurants, shops and bars. We are also very central for exploring the Beara peninsula, Bantry, Kenmare and Killarney.
