Forest Retreat Host Joan and Clayton

The fully separate home is located on our property offering a great space for a couple or a couple with small children. We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

The apartment is just 3 minutes away from Algonquin Park East-gate. Come and explore the Park at daytime and relax in the evening by the campfire in the backyard. ( Fire Pit not available in the winter ) During your stay we provide a complimentary Park Pass for exploring Algonquin P. Firewood for one night included additional firewood can be purchased on side. Also, a short drive to Whitney’s public beach, Restaurants, Grocery store LCBO Close to snowmobile trails. Available all year around.
