Farmstay holiday rentals in Wisconsin River

My family and I traveled to the area to attend a wedding. Jenny’s place was perfect for us. It offered all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would have taken advantage of more of them if our stay had been longer. We appreciated how welcoming and comfortable the property is. Jenny was great in providing helpful information and instructions, and she always was quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to the area.

This was our 2nd stay at Jeff and Emily’s and it was just as wonderful as the 1st time! The views are gorgeous, the place was super comfortable, and everything was just as described. Emily and Jeff were such gracious hosts, and I would recommend this place again and again!

We were looking for a quiet location, and we found it. The only noises we heard were bird song and the occasional sound of horse hooves going down the main street, pulling Amish buggies.

I had an art show in town and needed a place to stay for two nights. This cute cabin was exactly what I was hoping for! The setting is quiet and surrounded by forest, so you feel like you're away from the stress of city life (if you're coming from a city). The wrap around porch was nice and we also enjoyed the firepit.

This place was a great stay. If you love fishing, this is the place to go. My wife and I caught approximately 250 total fish over a 6 day stay. It was a great mix of bass, perch, crappie, and bluegill. The firepit was nice at night and the views of the stars at night was spectacular. The apartment was clean, and had all the things we needed. The host was great at communicating and easy to work with. We even added an extra day to our stay because we didn't want to come back home.

Our group had a wonderful time. The barn loft accommodations were cozy & everything was well thought out for guests staying. We had wonderful weather & spend the entire day at the swimming pond. It was great for our girls trip & I can say my kids would have loved it as well.

Staying at Trillium was magical! The Driftless Area is gorgeous and Grandma’s Cottage was the perfect place to relax into such a beautiful part of Wisconsin. We enjoyed meeting the owners and loved being able to roam around the property with Hanna and Honey, the resident tour guides. Other highlights were the amazing sheep and the baked goods that were delivered every morning. We considered staying forever!

We had a wonderful stay at Abbie’s lake cottage! She was responsive and very helpful, providing clear check in instructions and timely responses to any questions we had. The property itself is gorgeous and just as advertised. The cottage was cute and clean and allowed us a much needed relaxing night. Will definitely be back again if we’re ever in town!

What a gem this cabin is! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect, peaceful, private, safe and cozy place we wanted. Truly a slice of Heaven! We will definitely be bringing our kids back next time. Perfect place for a romantic getaway, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world; and also would be great for the whole family! The Host was wonderful too, she clearly cares very much about her guests! Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us! We’ll surely be back!

We were extremely happy with our stay at Paul and Erika’s Airbnb. They had truly thought of everything with little toiletries supplied for those who may have forgotten them, multiple board games available, wood for bonfires, and a helpful welcome guide. The Christmas Tree Farm was beautiful and at night we were pleasantly surprised by hundreds of fireflies out in the fields. Such a cool experience! The close proximity to the Dells and Devil’s Lake made it the perfect location. The hosts were also very responsive and proactive on the Airbnb app. Highly recommend!

This cabin felt super cozy right off the bat. The interior was warm and welcoming. It felt super comfortable/nostalgic. We brought our pups along on this trip and went on the boat to fish all day. It was wonderful & relaxing, with lots of great fish! It was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was really clean! I had brought our own throw blankets to cover the furniture to make our pups feel more at home. But didn’t need to, they had a bunch of their own to share as well. There wasn’t any pups next door if that is something you’re concerned about. Everyone was super friendly on the lake which was pretty great. Definitely will be coming back again.

Very nice home with all the amenities needed for a fantastic stay. Place was clean & well appointed. Located in a very quiet area with lots of nature. Host was very accommodating & made sure we had everything we needed. Central air conditioning was much appreciated during the warm weekend we were there. Highly recommended place to stay.

Leah’s place is so cute and very well taken care of. Minimal instructions, easy check in/out. It is walking distance to all of the popular kayak/canoe spots. Very quiet and peaceful at night. And beds/furniture were clean and comfy. Definitely recommend this place for a family or group!

Our stay at the cottage felt like a true retreat from the city. It honestly was more than we expected. The peaceful surroundings were like no other property we’ve stayed in. The home itself is beautifully built, thoughtfully decorated with all the needed modern amenities and spotless. The hosts were also welcoming and kind. We do hope to return!

We stayed at Sherry’s place when shooting in the high school trap tournament to save us drive time in the morning. It was convenient in that it is a 20 minute drive. It was beautiful area and most importantly clean.

We enjoyed staying here. We loved the location and everything about the house it was great. Very peaceful and quite and loved watching the deer in the corn field next door off the patio. We will book again in the future

Wow the place is much bigger than the photos show!!!! We saw maybe two or three bugs over the three nights we were there — which is to be expected when the place is next to the woods. The area is absolutely gorgeous. And do check out the Ski-Hi Farm that they own up the hill!

The Sedge Wood Farmhouse/Stacy’s place is so welcoming, peaceful, well equipped and very clean. Stacy is very responsive and easy to communicate with. A friend and I stayed for two nights while hiking the Ice Age Trail and it was a perfect place to come “home” to. We got to meet Ashly who shared interesting information with us about the farm and farming practices that they use. This is a great location for people hiking the Ice Age Trail in Chippewa and Taylor Counties. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

The tree house is a beautiful spot to stay. Plenty of activities to pass the time and enjoy the company of your friends and family!

Quiet, restful, a country retreat that was just what we needed. Overlooking a beautiful lake, horses checking us out, great place for the dog to go for a walk (leashed of course, didn’t want the horse and dog to mix it up), Kathryn’s place was charming, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Such a clean and comfy place to stay. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door and the property is beautiful! The pictures don’t even do it justice!

We've stayed twice with Jesse, using both Creekside and the Farmhouse, both times for family funerals where we needed space for almost 20 family members. As we were winding down our visit, sitting outside the farmhouse having a picnic dinner, one member of the family said, "You know, we need to do this again when it isn't a funeral." I replied, and suggested that we pick somewhere closer to a different family member, and the resounding agreement was " No, we mean here. This is the best place we've used for a family gathering." So, this isn't just one person saying the place is great. All 16 of us that stayed in the two houses agreed this is a great place, better than any other AirBnB that we've used for family gatherings over the past 6 years.

As a group of 10, all of the guests enjoyed the house. At first glance it may seem uninteresting but once we entered, we felt right at home. The place was filled with fun games for all ages and tvs in convenient spots. Check in and check out was simple. Kitchen was fully stocked with all essentials. The place is a little farther from the dells but as long as you plan well, you will be able to do all sorts of activities. Overall, this was a great experience with a helpful host!

The Tomorrow River Homestead was absolutely perfect for our family's stay in central WI. Our group of eight adults and a couple of dogs had plenty of room to spread out in the house and all over the grounds. And the really well stocked, huge kitchen was fantastic for family style meals for all of us. Rue and Zay were gracious, responsive hosts who also welcomed us to invite our extended family to celebrate my parent's 60th wedding anniversary with a gathering and cookout on the Saturday of our stay. The location is peaceful and private with walking trails to the river, a homestead feel with goats and chickens, a huge fire ring, space for lawn games, and more. Everyone agreed...this place is a keeper!
