Completed in September 2020 this detached cottage features a large living room,beautiful dining kitchen , two double bedrooms with ample storage, wc room upstairs and luxury bathroom with bath and separate large walk in shower. The cottage is fully equipped for 4 people . There is your own designated parking space but also plenty of further parking in the surrounding area. A small bistro table and chairs provides outdoor seating for morning coffee , evening drinks . Dovecot Dubs is in the perfect location in the ancient Royal Burgh(1140) of Lanark with it’s connections to William Wallace. The cottage is just 1 mile from the Unesco World Heritage village of New Lanark and the picturesque Falls of Clyde. There are numerous beautiful walks and gardens to visit including the Clyde Walkway at Castlebank Park. Glasgow and Edinburgh are 1 hours drive away as well as the Scottish Borders . We had 2 children & a dog with us and the attention to detail for things we might need was impeccable 😊 All of the little extras - easter eggs and activity packs for the children as we stayed easter weekend, are what makes a place stand apart. The house is beautiful and lots of space. I can't speak highly enough of our experience. Will definitely be back 😀

This property was just what we needed. Stephen was an excellent host-just had those extra touches in the home that were welcoming and he was really helpful. The amount of space is excellent. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We really liked that it was between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Easily caught the train into Glasgow so we didn’t have to worry about driving or parking. A short walk to train station. Edinburgh airport & Stirling Castle in about a 40 minutes drive. Quite neighbourhood. Easy walk to some grocery shops. We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily rebook if we were ever to return to Scotland.

Great BnB especially for a family of 4-5. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. Jozef and team were quite helpful and also confirmed and provided certain amenities which I’d requested. Great location as well as its 30-40mins drive from both Glasgow / Edinburgh.
