The lake house was peaceful and perfect for our girls trip. The house was very clean and everything was as described or pictured. We had trouble with the lock initially but Katelyn responded right away and came over to fix the problem. I would definitely recommend!!

We are familiar with the area because we have family that lives in the community. If you are looking for a nice place to stay while you fish Lake Fork this is the place. They think of their fisherman and their families. There was perfect parking and set up for boats, but the inside is what felt right at home. It was clean and cozy! Well supplied kitchen with cleaning stuff too. We will rent again!

Absolutely beautiful location on a quiet, peaceful and private lake. Owner very responsive and accommodating absolutely no issues. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a cozy private getaway in the the Yantis/Lake Fork area. Already looking forward to hopefully returning next year !

This is the perfect classic lake house. The location was amazing, quiet, and peaceful. I loved the decor and furnishings also. If you want somewhere lake front where you can relax and be a family, this is the place. It is perfect!

Avery’s Escape was a wonderful home to stay in. Shelly has put a lot of thought and care into this home. My family and I along with my mother stayed the weekend in order to be closer to my nieces wedding venue in Alba. Avery’s Escape provided us with a peaceful retreat from an otherwise busy and stressful weekend. It felt like home. We will keep it on our list of places to stay and will recommend it to others. What a comfortable little place. Perfect for my boyfriend and I for two days. The location was so quiet and peaceful. It was in a gated property but we never heard other people, or cars, or even barking dogs. Nothing. True peace and quiet. The property was exactly as described. Very comfortable with everything we needed from the comfy bed, to coffee to brew in the morning, to the toothpaste in case we forgot some. Ann was very responsive and gave us great directions and directed us to our parking spot late at night. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beyond my expectations! This is a once in a lifetime find of a gem. From the host to the destination, you will not be disappointed. The hospitality is akin to a book - you know the ones you read and say to yourself, "I wish that type of place exited!". It all began with Bill. He checked on the progress of our journey to Mineola, Tx which completely surprised me. He was there when we arrived, helped to get us into our room, and - best of all- he gave us a guided tour and history of the property. Guys, there is so much detail, thought, and comfort that goes into this magical place. Talk about exotic, rich, and comfortable! Never ever would I have thought my weekend would be so relaxing and thrilling all that the same time. We even had the pleasure of sharing some amazing rescue pups that make your stay feel like home - no, they do not enter your lodgings. In the words of my teenage daughter, "It is perfect!" I would stay here over and over! Don't miss out on your chance of a lifetime!

To say the least… the very best thing about this place is Mrs Erica! She was always very responsive to messages and always helpful!! She is a rock star trying to help make your experience staying with her the absolute best experience possible!! The rec hall and pool area was a hit with my family!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Lake Fork Getaways was a wonderful experience. We rented all 4 lodges, the big house, and the sunrise suite for a family reunion. What fun! Every part of the property is beautifully appointed, and the rec room, fire pit, and pool are total bonuses. We will definitely come back here.

My "host", Erica, was way above the normal host I encounter throughout the year. I stay in 40 ABBs annually and Erica was amazing..... I will be BACK and look forward to returning! This time, I plan to slow down from a busy fishing schedule.....
