A stones throw to the local buzzing Balaclava neighbourhood, where you can enjoy some classic Melbourne cafes and shops. The train station is a 3 minute walk away, and will get you to the CBD in 12 minutes. The iconic Chapel Street is also only a few blocks away, or St Kilda Beach is 5 minutes by car.

It was initially built in the late 1800s and found a second life when it was dressed in glossy green tiles by architect Robert Haddon during the Vienna Secession period. Rumour has it this was the HQ for A-lister debauchery (apparently, Elton John and Barbara Streisand have partied here), but who knows?
