This place was nothing short of amazing. The photos did not do it justice, as soon as we opened the door we were impressed. The room was immaculate, the bed and linen was great quality and the room smelt amazing. We enjoyed a wine tasting where we were easily able to walk back to our room, there was also a picnic basket that we took out and enjoyed some wine while still being at the vineyard. I would stay here again and certainly would recommend it to anyone who is looking to enjoy a peaceful environment.

Beautiful location, and a gorgeous cabin. Perks included the outdoor spa bath, beautiful fireplace and quiet. Stars at night were lovely, the cabin was clean and hosts friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return and recommend.

Absolutely loved Patrick’s place. Beautiful, peaceful property. We brought our dog and she loved it too. Highly recommend visiting, especially in Autumn!

Elsie is a very pretty cottage, with a peaceful away-from-it-all feel. Immaculately clean…extremely comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon sun, with a G&T in hand was a most pleasant way to finish a day of sight seeing. Also communication with Discover Daylesford was pleasant and easy, especially after I left something behind! Definitely recommend.

Jim and Louisa’s pod is a perfect private Haven, walking disrance to the beach, beautiful garden for a little dog to run out at the front, and the pod had all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot spa at night looking at the stars is a must. Definitely recommend!

Loved our stay. Everything matched the description. Beautifully styled and felt right at home. The river at the bottom of the property is spectacular and really adds to the overall charm. Saw local Kangaroos and Deer down by the river. Bed was comfy, heating with the electric heater was ample and plenty of firewood on hand for the Coonarra fire. An easy 20min drive into town. Felixa was really responsive to any questions and helpful. There’s no TV but that’s mentioned in the description. There’s plenty of games etc to keep you occupied. Wi-Fi worked fine.

Absolutely charming little cottage abode full of character! we absolutely adored our stay here, and the bathtub was just heavenly! so much care and attention to detail, from hand written notes to a generously equipped kitchen with treats to boot! treat yourself to this magical stay ✨

We stayed two nights at the Gate House Cottage. It was perfect! The cottage was very clean and had beautiful furnishings and decor. The architecture and stain glass windows were gorgeous. I am a fussy person and I couldn’t fault it. Quiet. Super comfy bed. All the little extra touches and yum breakfast supplies. Everything we needed for our stay. We have stayed at the Island many times and this was our first st Rhyll. We will definitely be back to stay again.

One of the best Airbnb places we have stayed. Malcolm and Marina were so warm and welcoming. From the transport to the accommodation, the fresh bread on arrival, to allowing us to feed the horses apples, we could not fault their hospitality. Communication with Malcolm was easy and fast, and he provided excellent local recommendations for food. The Airbnb was cosy, clean and secluded with ultimate privacy. We had a wonderful weekend and can’t thank them enough.

Colin and Joy's house was perfect for our wedding party. It was easy to find, well set up, and instructions were very clear. Thankyou to our hosts!!

Rustic, charming, intimate cabin nestled on a hobby farm made me feel down to earth again. Roaring fire, home-made cookies and easygoing owners welcomed us after exploring the very many dog-friendly trails and gardens in the area. Big thank you, just what we needed.

Our 2-day Timber Top Lodge stay was magical. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and comfort of the wooden cabin enveloped us, feeling instantly like a second home. The crackling wood fire was an absolute highlight, providing the ultimate ambiance for peaceful evenings. Thoughtful amenities exceeded expectations, making it a luxurious home away from home. Mornings featured delightful parrot feedings. It was a perfect off-grid nature escape, deeply enjoyed by our GSD, Chester. Beyond the stunning setting and comfortable accommodations, Michael and Giselle were simply superb hosts. Their genuine hospitality shone through, as they were constantly in touch, ensuring every need was met with promptness and warmth. Their dedication truly elevated our stay. Timber Top Lodge is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience for the soul. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing location! So very private, we didn’t see a soul for miles! A great place for a sneaky weekend away! The fire was cosy and almost all the light you need at night. Great idea to bring your own kindling and firewood, just in case. Make sure you get there early in the day, if you’re not familiar with farms it might be hard to find. Did I say private? Oooohhhh it was exactly what we were after!

A fantastic stay at Kelly’s beautiful log cabin. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a cosy weekend away. Super comfy beds with lovely linen, spotless bathroom with a European laundry with washer and dryer plus drying cupboard for wet gear. A short walk to a picnic ground with river access, plus walking trails to a local waterfall (all dog friendly). Stacks of local information available in the cabin which was super useful. Kelly was friendly and responsive and provided lots of recommendations for the area. We will come back and stay again.

Luke's place was perfect for our stop along the Great Vic Rail Trail. Location it is easy to find and right on the trail. Nice and close to wander down to the main street. Clean, spacious, and cozy inside, equipped with everything we needed. Would recommend.

Beautiful property, clean, cosy and exactly as it looks in the photos. Lots of thoughtful touches, information on local sites, etc. I already miss that view from the kitchen window over lemon trees to the forest, and the warmth & woodsmoke smell from the coonara! Our stay at Norsu Cabin was like the warm hug you didn’t know you needed. From the moment we pulled up outside we all collectively sighed a sigh of relief - this cabin has that kind of effect on you. The interiors are GORGEOUS beyond measure. The kitchen has everything you need (and more). The generous gifts on arrival were unexpected, appreciated, and have been gratefully brought home to help us re-live what was a gorgeous long weekend. The kids cooked marshmallows over fire pits, climbed the cubby house & squealed with delight as they bounced on the trampoline. The bathrooms were pristine (and the water hot), the belly fire cosy and warm, the beds so very very comfortable, and the cosy rugs the perfect thing to take outside to read a book with a glass of wine as the sun went down. The bath outside was incredible - I’ll never forget the “star bath” moment I had with one of my young children - it was an extraordinary experience. Loved it all!

Despite the non-stop rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at Amelia’s place. Idyllic farm location, horses, serenity, plenty of toys and boardgames for the kids, well equipped house, the warmth of the fire, beautiful taste with regards to furniture / design and photography, all topped off with a complimentary bottle of wine! We hope to be back one day.

We had a fantastic stay at Mt Madison over the weekend! Sharnie was a great host—very prompt and easy to communicate with. The place was amazing: clean, beautifully set up, and incredibly comfortable. We had one of the best sleeps we’ve had in a long time. Even our chocolate poodle, Lily, felt right at home and slept soundly in her own little bed we brought along. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway
