Holiday rentals with a kayak in Yarra River

We had a lovely stay. There was plenty of room to lounge about. The hammock is super comfy and relaxing! The huge table in the lounge was perfect for my jigsaw puzzling. The big portable fan was very welcome on these hot days. We enjoyed feeding carrots to the friendly horses, and spotting kangaroos in the paddock in the evenings. I enjoyed my daily walks at the Seymour Bushland Reserve which is only a couple of kms away, and the town itself is conveniently close. The host is very responsive and helpful. We'd love to stay again!

Janine’s house was fabulous for our 2 week stay. Beds are comfortable. Linen was lovely. My absolute Favorite part of the home was the garden and the deck !! We loved sorting out on the deck each night. And the deck and garden are very private with lovely gates that are very easy to use. The house is amazingly well stocked. If we forgot to take anything with us, we usually found what we needed in the cupboards. Such a close little walk to the beach. We have already rebooked this lovely house again. Absolutely beautiful location - tranquil, lovely outlook onto garden surrounded by native bush with lots of bird life- exactly the peaceful natural location we were seeking for our 10 night stay. Our party of two elderly parents (in their 90's), and four other adult family loved the house and location. Easy to access for my parents who were using walkers with a ramp up to front verandah and everything on the one level (apart from laundry). Comfy sofa and we loved the fireplace with lots of firewood supplied - also plenty of other heating to keep us warm and cosy on the colder autumn nights and days.

Booked this place last minute, The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we settled in well and was very responsive. Host was very considerate offering flexible check out also.

Great place to stay if you love the lake. We had a JetSki that you could moor and leave at the water with a gazebo. Short JetSki to Jews if you needed the shop. Not far to Mansfield for supplies. Lake at 80% so the water pretty high at the time. Extremely clean and great room set up for individual families to have privacy when needed. Great hosts. Thanks for the stay.

We and the kids absolutely loved our stay. From the big backyard and ping pong table on the deck to the spacious living areas and comfy beds, we couldn't find any fault whatsoever. It's close to the beach and a couple of eateries, but very peaceful. looking forward to returning soon!

We had such a lovely and cozy stay at this place! The home is beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It’s also very well insulated—we stayed warm and comfortable throughout, even on chilly days. The kitchen was especially impressive, fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. We truly appreciated all the little details and care that went into preparing the space. Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. It's close enough for an easy drive, lovely scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay. Lancefield was the closest town which had all of the the food and restaurant options we could use. The bed was fantastic, and there were extra blankets, towels, and enough cutlery and crockery for a couple of people on a weekend away. We had tea, coffee, and very kindly some fruit and biscuits for us on arrival which made it feel right at home. The property is listed as pet friendly, and it's so well organised for the pup that we had everything at hand that we needed including towels to keep her dry when it was raining outside. The hot tub was great, and although the weather wasn't fantastic, it was lovely to spend the evening in. I could go on, but if you're reading this, and need a short stay away in the country this is the place to be.

Amazing location! Incredible set up! Just a beautiful property! The Lake was a low which made it a little hard to access, but we made it work and still caught fish, enjoyed a kayak and plenty of swimming.

The cottage was perfect for what we wanted. The recommendation to try dinner at the Kilcunda Hotel was perfect. A great country pub with such friendly and attentive staff made it and enjoyable night. We will return.

Jim and Louisa’s pod is a perfect private Haven, walking disrance to the beach, beautiful garden for a little dog to run out at the front, and the pod had all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot spa at night looking at the stars is a must. Definitely recommend!
