El Hanok Stay

El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is located near Hwangnidan-gil restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (Olive), right next to the location where you can go to Gyeongju tourist attractions such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung, and Wolji. Jacuzzi in Hanok is available for a fee. It is 30,000 KRW in Korean money when using for a fee.

Gyeongju Hwangnidan-gil Hanok Stay Shrub Hwangto Ondol Room

This room is located on the first floor of a hanok building. The room is equipped with a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a hair dryer, towels, toiletries, and free Wi-Fi. A simple breakfast is provided on weekends and public holidays. Daeleungwon is laid out like a garden, so you can enjoy a beautiful view. Happy Hanok Village Syeobul is a traditional Korean-style guesthouse. We provide complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, street parking, and breakfast on weekends and public holidays only. The guest house is within walking distance (3-5 minutes) of multiple historic sites. The room size is perfect for up to 2 guests.

There is a waterfall pool and jacuzzi, and within a 5-minute walk, there are Daereungwon, Cheomseongdae, Woljeonggyo, Donggung and Wolji, etc. You can enjoy the tourist attractions of Shilla Millennium.. All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood. Stay in a real Hanok and experience the authentic charm of Gyeongju! It will surely be a special experience. I can confidently say it will be special.
