Don’t think twice on this lakeside retreat! Awesome area with good restaurants and amenities close by. The views and the peace and serenity this home provides is incredible. Was surprised how clean this cabin was especially with being lake front. Couldn’t have been happier booking Peter’s place!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Jeremiah and Lisseth’s beautiful lakeside cabin! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed by the thoughtful personalized gifts they left for us. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked, especially the bathroom, which had anything you might need if you forgot something. It was the perfect space for a quiet girls weekend, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Jeremiah and Lisseth were also incredibly easy to communicate with. Quick to respond and so helpful throughout the entire process. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

A wonderful weekend getaway! My husband and I stayed at Sophia’s place this past weekend after our wedding and it was exactly what we were hoping for. During our wedding we opted to exchange vows privately, but we didn’t end up reading them to each other until the following day after we had arrived. Who else can say that they exchanged vows while sitting by a cozy fire making s’mores?! Sophia’s home will hold a special place in our hearts. We had an amazing stay here! Great location to get away and toast some marshmallows. This was the perfect house for our group and we loved the hot tub and all the games in the basement. Thanks again Jessica!

Charming cabin! We had lots to do although we mostly just relaxed. Catherine was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! Great central location and the fire pit is magical.

I stayed here with my 4 nephews from 6-12 years old and 8 adults for a family vacation. If you are looking for a great place to relax with family this is ideal. Also the fishing was phenomenal.

We had the absolute best time at MJ’s place, highly recommend !! The house is spatious yet very cozy and quiet, with a nice back porch to sit and enjoy the surrounding woods! Home is also very close to town and to Poryland/coastline, and the cleanest lake to swim in that we’ve ever been to! MJ was very helpful and quick to respond. Stay here! We hope to return sometime soon!!

My wife and I stayed with our dog and it was wonderful, the lake was beautiful and full of fish! Great swimming area that our dog loved, and a dock to fish off. The cabin was perfect and was as shown in the pictures we enjoyed a Nice fire in the provided fire pit, before sleeping comfortably! 10/10 would stay again for sure

If you want to find solitude, this is the place to go. Set in the woods, 10mt drive from Freeport, the A frame cottage was just the place to chill. You could use it as a launching pad for Portland, New Brunswick and Freeport. Bow Market in Freeport offers a wide range of food and beverages.

This house definitely measured up to the ratings for us. The pictures were accurate and the amenities as described. The large lot and surrounding trees give a bit of privacy and space. We really liked the large patio around the fire pit and had several fires on the cool nights we were there. The hot tub was also refreshing after our long days running around. I would say it has the feel of a resort while also having the comforts of home. The beach is just a short drive away although we didn't make it there. I am already thinking of coming back.

This place was lovely! Beautiful hardwood throughout with plenty of space for seven guests. We also had additional family come over to visit with enough room for everyone. The kids loved going out on the lake with the kayaks and paddle boards, and the games were a huge hit! Overall, beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed for a larger group.

Our daughter and her best friend stayed here for a nearby wedding. She said Karen’s place was great, beautiful and lovely and that they had a nice time. Karen was very welcoming and helpful and responsive and the space had a lot of extras. Karen was very accommodating and willing to help with Ubers, etc. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

Lovely cozy cabin! I went mid-May, which probably isn’t the best time if you want to enjoy local activities. But it is a good time if you want to just relax at the cabin. The host were really nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

had a great time at squirrel patch! The dock was perfect for our fishing boat and pet friendly for our furry friend! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with all kinds of pots and pans and every spice you can think of. Loved the little porch, hot showers and all kinds of linens and blankets! Went to secret beach with beautiful views of lake. Great place for kids to play in water. Met all our needs and more!

We loved loves loved Cassie’s place on the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck with the gas firepit, enjoying the view. Kitchen had what we needed, though a few teabags and sugar would have been nice ( there was coffee). Beds were very comfy! Loved the seclusion of the rental, which is our top priority! Shower was great, too.

Everything was wonderful! Heidi was super responsive and took extra care to make sure the cabin would be comfortable since it was colder than usual. The lake is beautiful and peaceful.

Thoughtful hosts. Excellent amenities. Beautiful surroundings. Robin and Rich went above and beyond to ensure our family had a fun weekend. In addition to the many included amenities (frisbee golf, kayaks, swing set, outdoor fire place... the list goes on!) they ensured our toddler was the happiest camper by offering fun toys that kept him laughing and exploring all weekend. Their town of Wolfeboro had yummy breakfast spots and beautiful lake views and access to the rail trail. Nearby Castle on the Clouds made for a fun excursion and hike. We'd love to return!

Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage was so cute and comfortable. Holly and Howard were extremely friendly and nice.

From the start, Ashley was helpful and kind. The house was immaculate and decorated tres chic, and she left a few treats to welcome us. Honestly, the place looked brand new! And it was so comfortable- the warm wood stove, the gourmet coffee ninja, the soft bedding and cotton sheets, the honeycomb wall shelves and little gold bumblebee towel holder….all the little touches were so special. Will definitely stay there again!

This was our second time at Harold's camp. We love the charm and history of the cabin and hope it NEVER changes. The location is peaceful, beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. Amanda was an exceptional host, very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend staying at her cabin but be warned....You will find it hard to leave! We hope to be back in 2025, thank you for the memories. 10 Stars! BW

This spot was AMAZING, and Eva was such an incredible host. For a large party like mine, all of us felt comfortable, and there was more than enough space where we were not cramped in. The recommendations that Eva provided were accurate and very resourceful. I have reached out to her a few times to ask questions and extend my gratitude for being such an amazing host, and she was by far one of the friendliest hosts I have ever encountered. My family and I were disappointed that we needed to leave, but we will most definitely be coming back again next year!
