This is an amazing place to rest, relax and unwind. The grounds are incredible and the staff can’t do enough to help. The host has been extremely helpful in organizing everything and we would love to visit again to enjoy such wonderful, peaceful surroundings and meet friends, again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is an area of Belize we hadn't really been before but it was great to experience. The house was neat and clean and exactly as described. The views are beautiful and the seclusion is peaceful. The only thing I would note was, the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling so that makes it hard for some people to stay up and some to sleep. It does help with cooling the house though. Other than that it had everything we needed. We saw so many birds including 12 green parrots at one point and a flock of 8 parakeets. We saw the monkeys from the deck off in the distance. We evens saw a croc down the street at the river. We also booked a tour to the ATM cave through them and it was wonderful being picked right up at the house and taken there. We rented a car but didn't want to worry about rising early and finding our way there. We would definitely stay here again.

Marcela exhibited remarkable hospitality. Furthermore, she extends that warmth not only towards me as a host but also to other guests. Additionally, her friendliness, warm welcome, and readiness to assist in finding excursions and restaurants was truly exceptional. Moreover, the accommodations were beautiful, lush vegetation, a pool, comfortable beds and plenty of free drinks offered. Marcela’s place is truly an oasis that we will gladly return to.

Ramon has a special place. He built it into an amazing space that is completely eco friendly. It is beautiful location full of color and amazing little vehicle/campers. He is clearly very passionate about his dream and is amazing to talk to about it. He and his friend and cousin were incredibly friendly and welcoming and I would recommend anybody to with him and enjoy a chat about everything from Annona fruit to UFOs. Delightful experience, will be my first stop if I am ever in central Yucatan again. Thank you Ramon and company for the great night!

We felt completely at home. The surroundings are very nice and natural. The cottage is not luxurious, but it has everything you will need. Good beds, closets, fans and a hot water shower. The maya family is really friendly and hospitable!!They want to help with everything. They also had great tips for the rest of our trip. They speak enough English to understand each other. We were with our children aged 7 and 9. They really liked it here. We booked a tour where we could do and make everything ourselves! Very nice. The hostess, Margarita, has also walked with us into the jungle and vegetable garden. We have been to a nearby local community on our own. There we learned embroidery. The food was good. The cook went out of his way to make food that the children liked and we liked everything about the menu, there was a lot of choice! Almost all drinks, including the smooties, were including the price of the nights! Breakfast was delicious! Thank you!!

Luis is a fantastic host. He made our stay unique and provided great tips for things to do. The breakfast was delicious. Luis even asked for special diets like vegetarian. The room is just as described on Airbnb. If you are fine with a little jungle feeling, we can highly recommend this place

Beautiful place, 100% recommended! Honestly better than I expected. I would definitely come back to enjoy a different experience away from the city and noise again. For young and old children, it was also an incredible experience with outdoor activities. I highly recommend horseback rides with the excellent support of the Fernando cavalry. No hesitation at all to recommend staying in this beautiful location!

the experience in the tipi was amazing, it disconnects you from the routine, totally different, I felt very safe sleeping in this quiet place , the night was cool, the atmosphere was super nice. i was able to make a nice memory and experience with myself during my stay.

We actually didn’t get the chance to stay there because of a family emergency. However, they were able to help us and issued a partial refund after we had to cancel on the day of the check in. They didn’t have to do that. They did that as a kind act of understanding our poor circumstances. They were friendly, responsive, and helpful with their communication. And we are looking forward to actually staying there next time!

I recommand Andreas Ranch if you are looking for a true experience of ranch lifestyle . Rancher family showed great hospitality . Our 7yo daughter was able to ride a lot both horses at all speed . Ranchers family took our 7yo and long trip around the ranch .

The three of us spent 4 very nice days at the Back to Basics Farm with a 5-year-old child. For us, it was a stop on a longer trip to relax. The kitchen was very well equipped (even with spices), drinking water was provided and the washing machine works perfectly. Many birds live on the grounds, including many hummingbirds, and at night the howler monkeys roar. On the dirt track next door we saw Tapire. There is no air conditioning, but there was a cool wind and all the windows can be opened in front of the mosquito nets. Nicole was very friendly and proactive, as was the caretakers who also live on the premises. Conclusion: Beautiful place to relax!

I cannot wait to be back. This place is beautiful and so peaceful, it exceeded our expectations from the very first night. Gracianne, Yuli, and Juan greeted us at the door (the last mile of unpaved road adds an adventurous touch). The location: the absolute best if you plan on visiting Sisal or Celestun because you’ll be approx. 25mins away from both! The suite: spacious, private, charming. We didn’t know what to do with so much space to ourselves. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom huge, and the terrace area with the daybed was super cute but we didn’t even get to use it because we were always at the pool (spectacular). The food: amazing food. Plus, vegan and vegetarian options available. We got the additional meals (picnic to go, dinner, breakfast) and it was so SO worth it. Not did the food taste wonderful (most ingredients were sourced from their own hacienda) but you could tell every plate was prepared with a lot of thought and care. Gracianne and her family are spectacular hosts. We felt so welcomed and at home, and had all the privacy we needed and more. I definitely recommend this place!!! It may just be the best kept secret in Yucatan.

Rancho Paradise is a very spacious place suitable for families with children, they have a lot of fun in the pool, which is kept clean, has air conditioning and wifi , everything in general was fine, there are several activities such as ping pong, basketball and children's games. Our only problem is that taxis go expensive and the best thing would be to rent auti.

Horse Cottage is a magical place. I enjoyed every minute of my three month stay. Miss Nathalie and Miss Yohan are gracious, friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to explore the area or relocate this is the perfect place to set yourself up.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay at the Horse Cottages. Nathalie and Johanna are both so helpful, easy going and sweet. The horses and the property are very peaceful and the feeling there is magical. Sarteneja is a stunningly beautiful and friendly village and the shore is just a quick walk from the cottages. We would absolutely stay there again! Thank you!

I stayed for over a month in the Tuxaan space, during which I felt free and happy. My favorite thing is that they allow pets, which for me is essential, my cats and dog were super happy to be in such a spacious and natural space. What I enjoyed the most was the pool, which is small but feels like being in paradise when it's so hot. I stayed in the library/squirrel, a very spacious place, full of books, super interesting, the interior decoration is beautiful, very artistic. The kitchen is very complete, it is very nice to eat in a very green area. The bathrooms are austere but there is hot water although it is not necessary, they are ideal for nature lovers, since you receive visits from animals looking for humidity, perhaps this is not for everyone, keep in mind that the place is also occupied by species of fauna such as ranitas that are harmless and very beautiful, try not to disturb them! There are also many birds and local fauna, take care of it!!!

Staying at Hacienda Kancaba was a dream. We planned an intimate wedding ceremony during our stay for 10 close friends and family, sight-unseen. The property is otherworldly, impossible to describe aside from saying there is certainly no other place like this on earth. Our guests flew in from many places and were annoyed by the drive from Cancun to Espita until we arrived at the property. After that, zero complaints. This is way off the beaten path, a portal to another era, frozen in time in idyllic surroundings. I kept thinking to myself: I cannot believe we get to occupy this gorgeous home; anything relatively similar in the US would be viewed from behind velvet ropes for an entrance fee. It is like if you could rent Monticello… And for whatever it’s worth after all the rest of that sincere gushing, pictures do this place zero justice. It’s ten times as pristine and beautiful in real life. A gem. I expect that I will never see anything else like it in my life.
