Holiday rentals with lake access in Zagreb

If you are looking for peace and relaxation in nature, this is the place to be. The accommodation is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Relax by the pool during the day and have a nice dinner or barbecue in the evening. Everything was very clean and available. We were so nicely received by the Galic family, everything was shown to us. I can only recommend this accommodation.

Dragan was a great host and was constantly willing to help even with matters not related to his accommodation. The apartment is exactly as presented even better, good value for money, definitely when back in Zagreb will visit Dragan’s place again

Beautiful, unique, intimate, atmospheric private home. The house is located in a quiet place, with a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery and mountains from the window. Peace, quiet. A great place as a starting point for the capital of Croatia and Slovenia, as well as for other tourist and tourism tours. The property is very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Super grill and tree availability. Comfortable beds. Comfortable space to rest in front of the cottage. A big plus is the pool. We loved everything. Very kind, friendly, and helpful hosts. Great contact. Responded to inquiries and provided support if necessary. We received nice gifts. We highly recommend this house - far from other buildings, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Thank you for your great stay and kind regards to the entire host family.

A great place to stay if you don’t want the city noise.

Kristina was very nice and responsive. The place was clean and we loved the interior design. There is a public parking just in front, very convenient.

Our stay at Aleksandra's place was great. The host was very responsive and accommodated our evening check-in. The location is very peaceful. Do be aware though that the bedrooms are upstairs with a heavily pitched roof, the low roof might be problematic for those with mobility issues.

The apartment is functionally furnished, tidy and clean. The immediate neighborhood is quiet. We were able to enjoy the beautiful Lake Jarun and the recommended, inexpensive restaurant "Helena" on foot. We reached the center with the nearby tram in 30 minutes. Toni always kept us well informed and responded very quickly.

Great spacious and clean place near shops, bakery, cafes and restaurants. 10 minute drive to downtown. host great, quick to respond to messages a check in very easy.

The apartment was tidy, clean, and very welcoming. The bed is super comfortable and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. Communication with Katarina was quick and easy and the check in went smoothly. A warm recommendation for anyone coming!

A nice apartment with everything you need. Nikola was very nice and helpful. The location was nice and quiet. You could walk 15 minutes to the tram stop and from there a few minutes to the city. I would always come back!

Staying in this apartment was a great experience! The apartment is impeccably clean and tidy, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We'd especially like to compliment the coffee maker, as well as any toiletries that the hostess has carefully prepared. The hostess is extremely accommodating, flexible, and approachable – from the first contact to the end of the stay, we felt welcomed and at ease. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area!

The apartment and the parking were great, easy to find with provided instructions. Excellent choice for a family of four. The location was also great for us, because we attended an event that took place in the vicinity. The host was friendly and helpful. We would gladly return.

This apartment is lovely, clean and has everything you need during your stay. The apartment it’s very well stocked with toiletry and kitchen supplies. Bed and sofa are comfortable for sleeping. It’s located in calm neighbourhood not far from city center. Host is really kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed this cozy cottage close to the lake very much. The cottage is small, but thanks to the baking sheet outside, you can also cook outside. The air conditioning certainly came in handy, but at night we could use some extra coolness in the separate bedroom. The bed was also a bit small there and could use some extra softness;). All the extras make it a very nice stay in nature: the hammock and sun loungers, the fire bowl, flowers and plants. The canoe and sub you can rent are also super nice to explore the lake. Across the street you can eat delicious ice cream and there are affordable cocktails with a very friendly service!

Andrej's apartment is very big. Spacious living room, large kitchen with dishwasher and oven, spacious bathroom, large bedroom. Two balconies, from where you have a magnificent view of the mountains. Beautiful, well-kept garden, all around the house. Mother lives downstairs, you have your own entrance. Spacious parking. Lots of privacy. Small shop downstairs near the church, large shop in Slovenia and a bakery just across the border. Walking in the area is difficult. Many excursions possible (both Croatia and Slovenia), but by car.

We had a wonderful week here, a beautiful view and several places to sit in the shade and or the sun. The house has all the amenities you need. We were received hospitably. The children enjoyed themselves in the garden.

Jelena is a fantastic, responsive and very friendly host. Her place is fantastic in location, cleanliness and amenities. The house is literally the last on the road in the valley and therefore very secluded. Our family (two kids) enjoyed especially the outside area with the roofed patio with Croatian oven/bbq, outside kitchen, hot pot and playground. Heating and outside amenities are powered by natural wood with plentiful supply. This is also needed, because you get power cuts occasionally due to the remote location and old power network (not Jelena’s fault). The environment is green and peaceful, with a nice little creek running by the house. You can start walking or hiking directly from the house. The neighborhood is local and small but very friendly. It’s easy to get in contact and you can get local homegrown or homemade food from them. All in all it’s definitely a recommendation. All of us had a fantastic time and I personally had one of the most relaxing holidays for a long time!

As a family of four with two young children (6 and 10) we absolutely loved our time at this beautiful Slovenian home. Slovenia itself is a stunning country to visit. The surroundings of the house are peaceful with beautiful views and we enjoyed lots of days around the pool and meals in the garden. The house is so pretty and there amenities are great, you really feel like you’re in a home away from home. We drove to lake bled for the day and also zip wired there and the postojna caves and castle were also a great day trip. We’re excited to come back and see a little more of the cities next time. The mill is a special place. Vid and his parents made it even more so. I was met by his mother who showed me where everything was, including her beautiful garden that she invited me to use. They had stocked the fridge with more food than I could eat in my week! The next day Vid's father brought some lovely fresh asparagus and sausages and the sweetest blueberries I've ever had. Such lovely welcoming people! Vid responded to questions quickly and kindly set up a visit to a friend's vineyard which was a highlight of the trip. The mill is one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed. I kept the window open all the time to hear the sound of the river. It's very isolated - which is exactly what I was looking for! My helpful hint would be to not buy groceries before ILY check in because they'd already thought of everything!
