Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Zurich

We had a wonderful stay with stunning views of Lake Zurich! The home was very clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful garden in the back and the lake view from the balcony. The location is ideal, just a short drive to scenic towns. It’s about 35 minutes driving to downtown Zurich and Lake Lucerne, making it both tranquil and accessible. Check-in was easy, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Herbert was smooth and pleasant, he responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is very well-maintained, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return!

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Great location! Plenty of space for our large family. Martina and Michael were great with communication and recommendations for things in the area. Bonus, they let my kids pick cherries from their cherry tree. Would stay there again if in the area.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Zeit im Bijouhaus (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder). Das Bijouhaus war sauber, frisch, hell und erzeugte bei uns sofort eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Viele Freizeitaktivitäten sind schnell und unkompliziert mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die besten Erdbeeren aller Zeiten sind im Hofladen (5 Minuten Gehdistanz) erhältlich :) Bei Anliegen und Fragen reagierte Andrea schnell und persönlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, wir können das Bijouhaus sehr weiterempfehlen...

Alles in Allem super!

Wir haben sehr von Rolf und Norma’s Gastfreiheit und Freundlichkeit genossen. Wir sind sehr warm und herzlich empfangen, es wurde auch sofort ein Feuer angemacht um die Wohnung zu erwärmen. Unsere Tochter durfte uns auch besuchen und dort übernachten, das war ganz selbstverständlich. Kurz gesagt, wir können es 100% empfehlen und wenn wir wieder in Zürich sind kommen wir gerne wieder zurück. Die Wohnung war genau wie versprochen und wie auf den Fotos, einfach super! Merci nous avoir reçu dans votre magnifique maison. Elle est très confortable, décorer avec amour et beaucoup de goût. Tous est très propre, et y tous ce qu’il fallait pour notre séjour d’une semaine en petite famille . Merci pour votre chaleureux accueil, pour les œufs frais de votre poulailler. C’est magnifique petit mouton, ont adorer. On c’est promener dans le village et dans la forêt autour, très simpa. La nuits on a croiser des petits cerfs 🥰 sur la route. Merci Eva et Yves

Die Anreise sollte mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erfolgen. Kommt man doch mit dem Auto gibt Beat einem sehr hilfreiche Informationen wo man denn überhaupt parken darf/ kann. Der Verkehr in Zürich ist schon herausfordernd. Am besten das Auto stehen lassen. Öpnv ist echt preiswert für das gebotene. Auch da gibt Beat gute Tipps. Verständigung und Erreichbarkeit war überhaupt kein Problem. Wie gesagt privat - Recht groß die Erdwohnung mit einer großen Terrasse. Sehr schöne Lokation auch für 2 und für Familien aber besonders geeignet für Events/ Party wenn ich mir die Einrichtung so anschaue. Insgesamt ein tolles Objekt ein für Zürich gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. In einem einigermaßen Zentral gelegenen Stadtteil. Mit vielen Einkaufs und Essen Möglichkeiten. Das war bestimmt nicht mein letzter Zürich Besuch. Also gerne wieder schönes Mieterlebnis. Schönen Tag wünsche ich und Dankeschön für das gebotene und die Erklärungen.

Lara's place was a comfortable stay overall, and Lara herself was an excellent communicator throughout our trip. She was always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had. There were a couple of minor issues that impacted our stay. We experienced a lack of hot water for two days, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the neighborhood could be quite noisy, especially during the evenings. Despite these points, Lara's responsiveness and helpfulness made a significant positive difference. With a few small improvements, this could be an even better stay.

Es war alles so, wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral in Winterthur, vom Bahnhof her in rund 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Alles ist sauber und sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die relativ steile Treppe, die am Schluss vom Lift in die Wohnung führt. Aber das ist Jammern auf extrem hohem Niveau. Obwohl die Wohnung zentral in der Altstadt liegt ist sie sehr ruhig. Rolf als Gastgeber war immer ansprechbar wenn irgend eine Frage auftauchte. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, sei es für kurze, aber auch für längere Zeit. Selber war ich gut 7 Wochen dort.

I booked this apartment for my parents, and they were pleased with their stay. The apartment is well-located in a lively yet quiet neighborhood, with a charming park just across the street and excellent public transport connections to many popular areas in Zurich. The apartment is in good condition and well-suited for a couple seeking comfortable, straightforward accommodation in the city. The balcony overlooking the park is a real gem. Arye was responsive from the beginning, accommodating our request to split the booking into two separate stays of fewer than four nights each. He remained attentive throughout, addressing my parents’ request to install a shower curtain and offering compensation for the delay.

The apartment was in pristine condition and very spacious. Loved the outdoor space as well. Centrally located so you can get to any part of the city. I loved having the full size washer and dryer in the basement. Top notch accommodations.

It was fantastic stay at Zurich Overlikon. Everything was inline to meet our expectations. Host is quite helping. But it was away from Zurich HB station where we have to take taxi/ tram every day for reaching Zurich HB station for site seeing. Would have been better if location was Luzern or interlaken. this is my personal view. Not to relate with this accommodation. accommodation and stay was fantastic.

It’s a beautiful farmhouse surrounded by a scenic landscape and mountains. The location is quiet, remote, and truly off the grid. The house is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a play area, a well-organized kitchen, and the charm of natural beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

Catia et Lukas sont des hôtes exceptionnels. J'avais du mal à croire tous les autres commentaires mais ils sont tous fidèles à la réalité✨ Le logement est d'une qualité et propreté que je n'ai jamais vu en Airbnb. Tout est pensé dans le moindre détail, les petites attentions, la déco, la literie de qualité très confortable, le walk-in pour les vêtements, etc. Nous avons séjourné avec nos jumeaux de 2 ans et avons pu profiter des beaux jours dans le jardin où à pied dans le quartier. Les avions qui décollent et les vaches ont été très appréciés 😉 L'environnement est calme et paisible à l'exception peut-être du clocher juste en face qui sonne toute la journée.. et toute la nuit (!!) mais cela fait parti du charme du lieu 🤭 À proximité de Zürich en voiture avec possibilité de se garer juste devant, c'est parfait. Merci encore à Catia et Lukas pour cet accueil chaleureux 😊

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean and very close to the airport. The bus stop to the airport was a five minute ride and the actual stop was only 800 feet from the apartment. The host was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. It was great to be able to do some laundry before we flew home. There were several grocery stores very close to the apartment along with bakeries. I would definitely recommend staying apartment.

Wir durften 3 sehr schöne Tage bei den lieben Gastgebern geniessen. Nach einem freundlichen Empfang und einem gründlichen Check-in waren wir bestens informiert über die Unterkunft und alle Möglichkeiten. Der Pool und der nahegelegene Rhein boten sich bestens für eine Abkühlung an. Neben dem bequemen Bett schätzten wir auch die weitere hochwertige Ausstattung sehr. Es stimmte von A-Z, herzlichen Dank

Dejlig lille lejlighed for 2 med en pragtfuld beliggenhed. Der er alt, hvad man behøver i lejligheden. Malonda er en meget smilende og omsorgsfuld vært, som endda tilbød at lave mad til os. Der er ca 50 trappetrin ned til lejligheden, så det skal man være opmærksom på. Det var ikke noget problem for os. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Super gelegene Wohnung für einen gemeinsamen Städtetrip 3er Freunde. Nur 200m von der Straßenbahn entfernt ist mit der ZÜRICH Card alles gut erreichbar und erkundbar. Restaurants mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen und nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Küche und die Einrichtung in der Wohnung, geben auch die Möglichkeit selbst gemeinsame Mahlzeiten zu zubereiten. Die Terrasse oder auch der Esstisch vor dem Fernseher bieten sich für gemütliche gemeinsame Frühstücke, Abendessen und nette Gesprächsabende an. Das Doppelbett und die Schlafmöglichkeit auf der Coach waren komfortabel und dank dicker Wände und gut isolierter Fenster auch sehr ruhig. Ein extra zu bezahlender Parkplatz rundete den Aufenthalt ab, da Abstellmöglichkeiten in der Nähe auf öffentlichen Straßen kaum erkennbar oder nur weiter entfernt vorhanden waren.

Karin is a great host. She is very friendly, was waiting for us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. On the way she pointed out the grocery stores, bakery and cafés. The apartment is clean with modern appliances and is a perfect size for 2 people. A 24-hour transport ticket allowed us to travel to Zürich by train (15 minute trip) or by ship (20 minute sail -very pleasant). The train also goes directly to the airport without needing to transfer. We would definitely stay here again!

If there was an academy for Airbnb hosts (which I wish there was), Tobias would be the owner of it. I’ve been in Airbnb for many years, never had experience as great as this. Although it’s REAL people home (not serviced hotel like house), I didn’t feel like I invaded anyone’s life. Tons of storage place for clothes, didn’t need to squeeze my stuff in some corner. The house has everything I wish I could take from my home to my trip with me. Obviously all the cleaning & kitchen amenities you can think of, but also homey blankets, various spices, oils, vinegars, many books, tons of towels, great soaps and more… we enjoyed some great cinema nights with the home huge screen and cozy chill dinners in the private garden. Stylish home in a charming street, quiet and accessible. What can I say, it was really really hard to leave. Thanks Tobias for such a wonderful and precious hosting experience. You’re the best!

Everything was perfect. The place is situated with good public transportation about 20 min from the city centre. The nature around the place is amazing. Inside the apartment everything is really cozy and nice. Including great beds and a coffee machine that is easy to use to make very good espresso or cafe lungo. Elisabeth was super nice and available to help us! One of my best Airbnb experiences.
