Family-friendly holiday rentals in Aa en Hunze

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozy house with plenty of space. The garden was a relief: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

Pasja was very friendly and asked if we need anything and if everything works. The place was nice, the bbq and the hot tub were our highlight :)

We stayed at Rob's house for a weekend with girlfriends. We had a fantastic time. It has it all and the terrain is huge. We would come back out. Communication with Rob was also incredibly nice and reliable. A thousand thanks for everything! 😊

Fantastic stay and perfect for a group of friends! We found it difficult to find fun activities in the area, but you can prepare for this. And for a short weekend this was all right. Recommended!?

What a beautiful place, I really enjoyed the stay and the jacuzzi, walked wonderfully with the dogs in the beautiful surroundings and Gerard and his wife Rieke are incredibly friendly!

Amazing place to stay for the legs Groningen - Zuidlaren and/or Zuidlaren - Rolde when hiking the Pieterpad (or just in general if you want to have an amazing tranquil stay in a beautiful garden oasis. The house has all the amenities one could wish for and an amazing bed to top it all of meaning you’ll be completely rejuvenated for the next leg of Pieterpad.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

We were with 8 women over the weekend in Henk's house and felt completely comfortable, as it is cozily furnished and very spacious. There were also several seating areas behind the house. Since we had 30 degrees, we did not use the beautiful sauna. The house is very quiet, a bit remote, which we liked.

Lydia is a fantastic host. She greeted us personally and gave us helpful tips. Fresh croissants were ready to welcome us.😍 The room is idyllic and quiet, right next to a historic mill, only 10 minutes by bike, which are provided on site, from the city center. In the kitchen there is everything you need. Overall, a very nice stay. We would come back.

Marinette and Alex are very friendly people, helpful and approachable. A very nice accommodation, spacious enough for 8 adults and 2 children. Each room has its own sanitary facilities, which is very pleasant. Plenty of room to play inside and out. Good information for activities in the area. However, we found the kitchen in the large room to be on the small side. We all had a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful weekend in a small oasis. The Pipowagen is well equipped and has a lot of charm! The whole area is simply beautiful and designed with a lot of attention to detail, a perfect place to come down :) We will be happy to come back !

It was a wonderful place, nice terraces, sun/shade, especially the terrace on the forest wall with great views, silence, you could hear the birds, deer came by in the evening. We didn't spend much time inside. Beautiful cycling routes in the area. The contact with Henk was very pleasant, personal.. A very nice place!!!

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

It was a very nice stay in the cottage of the bronze bucket! Beautiful location in wooded area and wonderfully quiet. In older updates, I read about a noisy heater, but that didn't bother us, maybe recently renewed? In any case, it was wonderfully warm to get what was welcome after a day of mountain biking. As an extra bonus, we were allowed to check out later so we could still shower after the Sunday bike ride, very much appreciated.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

Nice chalet. I had a nice quiet stay and was close to my friends place. It had everything I needed and was very nice. Janet was very helpful and responsive.
