Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Albany

Location was incredibly convenient, and accommodations were exactly as advertised. Nice to stay somewhere that feels so homey! The iron was missing, which I needed for a dress outfit, and host was so quick to respond and had an iron delivered that evening. It was an unexpected and much appreciated gesture, thank you! Would definitely stay here again!!

Three of us stayed in the home and agreed it would be our first choice again when in Salem. A few reasons why: lovely. clean, spacious home, set in a residential neighborhood not far from many establishments. Peaceful and relaxing space. Comfortable furnishings, and a nice outdoor space with sun and shade. Driveway, garage and street parking. A cool fridge with ice and a filtered water pitcher that fills on its own. Clear instructions for the home, as well as recommendations when venturing out. Responsive host, which makes the stay all the more reassuring that you’re in great hands at a well cared for place that they love and want you to love as well.

Stunningly restored Victorian House with all of the modern upgrades you would want. 4-star quality hotel beds and linens. Walk to everything in downtown Albany.

We very much enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect set up for us, an elderly couple; nice open layout with very comfortable furniture. The little kitchen area was thoroughly supplied with dishes, utensils, etc. The bathroom was compact and just right, easy to move around in. We appreciated parking in the driveway and ease of entrance into the hideaway. We thank our hosts for a very accessible and comfortable little home away from home and for their friendliness and warm welcome!

the cottage was perfect! cozy, clean and centrally located. served as the home base for fantastic exploration of Corvallis and surrounding areas for terrific and varied hikes! it made me fall in love with Corvallis even more.

Great place to stay. Just as described. very centrally located in Albany and within walking distance to anything you need. Will rent the house again if we come back to town. This was my family and I first time using AirBNB and it was an easy experience.

We had a very pleasant stay here! The house was beautiful and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities fit all of our needs. The host was friendly and responsive and I can’t rate this stay highly enough.

Great place! House is exactly as pictured. Older neighborhood but close to restaurants and a park nearby. Beds were comfortable, we appreciated the fans provided. Overall, a great stay for a quick parent’s weekend at OSU.

A peaceful place with a lovely view and wonderful deck. I especially loved the redwing blackbirds singing in the field below.

Ron's place was an absolute gem! The location couldn't have been better—just two blocks from downtown, making it easy to explore on foot. The exterior was charming, and the interior had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ron was incredibly warm and welcoming—and was even playing his harmonica in the front garden as we arrived, which was such a delightful and memorable touch! He recommended the Saturday Farmer's Market and insisted we try the local strawberries—they did not disappoint. The home was exactly as described: spotless, cozy, safe, and thoughtfully prepared. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Our stay at Lisa's was wonderful. We were in town for a triathlon and Lisa's spot was perfectly located, quiet, and spacious. She was a great host with some great dogs. We loved the nearby parks.

A very responsive host and lots of extras for our kiddos in the home which was great. We had everything we needed and more.

Very comfortable stay. Spacious and clean. I wasn’t around much during the day, so don’t know if trains were passing nearby often, but didn’t hear any at night. The outside of the building looks aged, but inside was comfortable and pleasant.

Very friendly and accommodating in a quiet private setting. Hosts were very responsive to messages, we will definitely try to stay here again.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I love this place! I will be back again! It is just so cozy and charming, quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is very walkable with many things nearby.

The Airbnb itself was clean, spacious, and clearly well-maintained. You can tell the host has put a lot of effort into making the space feel welcoming, and they may still be in the process of improving it even more. One of the highlights was the beautiful river right out back—a peaceful bonus that added to the overall experience. While the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy and there were quite a few transients around, it’s important to note that those issues are outside of the host’s control. Once inside, the space felt safe and comfortable. Parking could have been tricky, but the host provided clear and detailed instructions that made it easy to find. Overall, it was a solid stay with some nice touches in a developing area.

Great host. Told us of an issue that was brought up to her before we could even see it. It didn’t affect our stay but she still asked if we wanted someone to come fix it. Didn’t need to be done but nonetheless showed how much she cared to make sure we didn’t feel on our own in the situation.

This was a good home base while moving my son into Willamette. Apartment was clean, conveniently located, comfortable beds, and good heating for a cold winter stay. Appreciated the off street parking and sound of the creek. As noted in the listing this is an older building -- it's not a fancy new place but it had everything we needed, the neighbors were friendly, and the neighborhood quiet. Amanda was a great host -- flexible, responsive, and eager to help.

An excellent place to stay. We so appreciated the free use of the washer and dryer, detergent was included. The air conditioning was wonderful. We did not understand the smart TV set up, how to use the streaming set up, subscriptions etc.

Great stay at the condo. I was in town house hunting and the location was perfect... close to grocery stores, downtown, etc. Definitely visit Riverfront City Park when you're in Salem. The condo was super clean, bed was extremely comfortable, and the area was quiet... not county quiet, but quiet for being near downtown. I felt very safe in the area. Plenty of street parking along the condo. Thanks you!

The home was comfortable and the patio beside the river was peaceful and quiet. The patio was a huge draw for us and the family said they loved it enough to stay again. We cooked a couple steaks on the grill and after eating we heard a dog bark. Upon looking over the side of the patio we saw a German Shepherd apparently wanting whatever we were eating! So cute. Yes we feed him a little from our steak leftovers. Hosts were very responsive with requests and took care of any concern ASAP. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a peaceful evening. We did see a couple mosquitoes so bring your repellent. 🤗
