Villa holiday rentals in Ameland

We stayed for four nights in the beautiful vacation house in Menaam. The place is a small private camping ground with two vacation homes (and also place for campers and tents), and was very quiet and peaceful. The house was beautiful and lovely designed amd very clean. As a family of five, our oldest slept in the living room, and the space was enough. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location is very good - a close by natural park with water activities, and about 50 minutes drive from Lauwersoog port and Den Helder. There is also a public outside pool close by, and sunset running is very nice(: The owner was on vacation but was very responsive and friendly and had a very friendly couple in charge in is absence. The place is part of a net of hosts which seems also very serviceable. We enjoyed very much and highly recommend!

Except for the cleanliness (pet hair from the previous users), everything was as expected.

Clean well-equipped home and responsive hosts I recommend

The stay we had was absolutely great. The house is located in a very calm area right beside a canal and you can watch the boats passing by (yes, you can see some industrial buildings on the other side of the canal, but this is nothing that bothered us, as it is still a really great place). The house is built and equipped with super high standards (Real full wooden doors, tables and kitchen cuppords; Miele washing machine, qooker water-tap, dishwasher and microwave-oven combo). You won`t miss any kitchen equipment and find Coffee and tea as well. The owners are super friendly. There is a playground for kids on the premesis as well wich is built better and safer than most communal/public playgrounds I have seen. You have a covered outdoor terrace and an electric bbq. The pictures shown really reflect on what you will find. We enjoyed our stay and will for sure go back.

Nice bungalow. Very well located. Nearby is not very pretty. But the garden is surrounded by dense bushes, so it doesn't matter. Had a good week!

This was a great place for us -- we stayed here with some family, 5 adults in total. The location is ideal (short walk to beach, short bike ride to town, close to bike trails to all of the island). We loved the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. It's pricey, but worth it if you can afford it.

We were 14 people in the house for three nights and felt completely comfortable. The house was very clean, well equipped and quietly located directly on the water – perfect for relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a good train connection to Groningen (about 35 minutes' drive). Ideal for groups and highly recommended! In addition, very friendly and helpful hosts who live in the house next door 👍

We were traveling with two families (4 adults and three kids). The house has enough space. Check-in and checkout was very straightforward and personal. We had a small issue and got a response and resolved it right after getting in touch. The equipment of the house is simple and without much decoration/coziness but sufficient. The kitchen in turn was well equipped (toaster, gas stove, good microwave, pots of different sizes). Children's equipment (stair gates upstairs, high chair and crib) are available and sun loungers were brought to us. The garden is huge and has plenty of space for the children to play. Location is quiet in the middle of a holiday park. The pool was still empty at the end of April/early May. Although the weather was only warm during the day, the house was very heated and it is very clairaudient. We had a good time and can recommend the stay!

Very nice cottage and a nice price for what you get. Nice area. Definitely worth the effort!
