Les Frênes - Malvy Island

Small private island located between Angoulême and Cognac, on the "La Flow vélo" bike path, in the immediate vicinity of the pretty Bain des Dames beach. House with adjoining garden overlooking the river. Many activities on site: swimming pool, kayaks and bicycles, large games room: billiards, table tennis, foosball, darts, board games, toys for children, books, comics... The island is also home to a forest garden, making it a true oasis for biodiversity!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. You will be in a space that was originally intended for the hamlet baker. To maintain the original atmosphere, we chose to restore the bread oven annex visible from the living space. You will enjoy the mezzanine reserved for the sleeping area and the storage spaces of the equipped kitchen. A private bathroom completes the accommodation. Free on-site parking. No charging possible for electric vehicles.

Quietly, in a hamlet near La Rochefoucauld and close to the RN10, the accommodation at your disposal is an extension of our house. Guests can enjoy the Charente countryside, as paths are directly accessible on foot or by mountain bike. The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market. The house is in a quiet hamlet, between Jauldes and Brie. You will stay 20 km from Angoulême and 12 km from La Rochefoucauld (15 km from Angoulême TGV station) The house has an equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle), free Wi-Fi and a parking space During your stay, you can take walks in the surrounding countryside. We do not charge a cleaning fee, we expect a contribution from you
